Well, I didn't know this was a Beta/Release Candidate and not the final. Don't know how I missed that. So, I am going to wait until the Final is released to change any of my missions. I read on the UP site that some are thinking of making a script to automatically fix missions. I made one to fix ship packs a year ago and it saved me a lot of time. So, maybe if somebody makes one you can just run it against your mission folder and it will save you some time as well. And I suggest the DDz wait for the Final UP 3.0 to make this official to avoid any problems. But continue to test it out.

This is the stupid fucking message that I recieved while just trying to reconnect to the DDz TS Server, but it just errored out with this stupid shit... Over and over, every time that I tried to use TS3.. I cannot even use TS3 anymore...............

Ok, I was playing IL2 and talking fine all night. But when I disconnected from TS to fix a problem, TS said that I had ANOTHER ERROR that I MUST REPORT to Teamspeak at once! So, I tried.... and tried... and tried, but their stupid website would not, work. So, I could not use TS, and thus could not connect to my fiends to continue playing and was totally fucked....

No, I'll take a look at my missions and see what works. I agree that the shippack stuff should not affect aircraft. I noticed that when I press ctrl-F2 I do not see enemy aircraft the few times I have tried. Did they change(fix) the game so you cannot toggle through enemy aircraft? Or maybe the aircraft are really not their and I have something to fix?? As a programmer, I really don't like it when they fix things that are not broken, like the shippack stuff. Yes, it would be nice if it was part of the original ships, but if that is the only reason they made this fix... that broke 100's of missions, then that was a bad fix... But they seem like smart guys, and maybe there was another reason I hope...

I read on the UP site that they combined the Ship Pack with the normal ships, so now if you had old missions that used Ship Pack ships they will not work. They all need to be updated (thanks UP guys?). I think it might be one of those things where it's easier to edit the mission file with notepad...

Is it IL2 FB?? or just IL2 Sturmovik? Anyway, my experience with downloading games is mainly with Steam. And they do something to the game's install format and it installs in the Steam folder buried in some sub folder. I don't know how CloD works, but the 3 other games I have from Steam are like this and you have to get the updates from Steam. You can't just download an update and install it like a normal game because it is installed in the Steam folder and is setup differently.

Well, when I set the RAM Usage to 1024 and load the Korea mission the game CTD. When I set the RAM Usage to 256, 512, or 768 I get the Russian Paratrooper Error message. But when I set the memory to the smallest setting at 128 it loads the Korea mission!!

Hmm. Yea I did that finally when I tried to load my own Korea mission I think, but I'll double check it. Thx.

Today I connected fine to Jedi's mountain DF server, but when he changed to the Korea map I could only load that up to 90%. My own Korea DF mission also crashed before loading. Still testing...

Personally, using that IL2Joycontrol, I just pull my stick to where I am comfortable and then set the dials to max out at that point. Then I am naturally pulling the stick to where I am comfortable to get the full turn rate in the game. Then, tweak the curves from there if you want more or less dramatic effect.

Have you tried IL2JoyControl? It is a great program to tweak all of your curves on your stick. It's a simple program, but can be a little hard to figure out.

Yes, just give them your ip address. If you have a router you will need to open up ports to be forwarded for IL2. Look at this site: http://portforward.com/ You don't have to buy anything. They do have some advertisements, but just skip them... Select your router. Select the Game IL2 Sturmovik Forgotten Battles Follow the instructions on how to open up port 21000 for the game. Test by having somebody connect to your game. That's it. Snack
