Last night on comms, Jedi mentioned that one of the Dogz (maybe Arthur) had posted or mentioned a list of object names that have changed in UP 3.0. I need this list to fix missions.. So, I am wondering where I can get this list. I would like to get it from the UP site, but Boomer told me he did not know of a list like this. So, I am confused.. If anybody knows about this, please let me know..

Maybe I should have wet down the spots where I was applying and also tried to wet my fingers or a sponge to wipe it down before it set. I have looked at tons of videos on Youtube on different techniques, but have not see a good one on using putting! I need to practice this. I also purchased a new airbrush just at the end of winter, but spring and summer came and I have not used it yet. Hopefully next winter I'll get back into modeling again.. Cheers.

Bump for FT..

Hey FT I have another question... Last night I was trying to turn on the Aircraft numbers so we could see who is in what aircraft in coops. I went into the FMB and open a Dogfight Mission that I had, and I went to the MDS menu and selected HUD Settings. I then checked the checkboxes for the Pilot Number and the other one (I forget it's name). I did the same for a coop as well. But the pilot number only shows on those two missions. How do I just turn this feature back on for all missions?

Oh yea, I had forgotten that you mentioned you had made one. So, this is it. Well I like it alot and even more that it still works. It looks like the other guy hardcoded some of the code that lists the axis. Using IL2 Joy control I have that >100 checkbox check so I can go past 100% when I want. In IL2-Stick it reads those settings at just 100 when they may be higher. So, I will loose any settings that are above 100 if I use that. That feature actually works well for my Throttle, where i have it increase faster than normal so when it reaches that 'afterburner' bump, it is a 100% throttle. If I go over that I am then in WEP. Cool, thanks. I have never heard of this one. Have you tested it (saved to conf.ini and fly)? I was afraid to save IL2Joycontrol when I saw those missing axis..

I just tried using IL2 Joy Control and it has several Hotas listings with blank names. I am guessing they are for new axis like the Brakes and Flaps that it does not know about? Has anybody looked at this?

So, when you fill those gaps, do you use model putty and tape them off first? I tried using model putty last winter on a submarine for the first time. Couldn't find any videos or tutorials... what a mess.. I thought it would be soft for a day or so, but it's like a rock now and all over the place. I didn't know you should tape off the area.. So, that model went on the shelf till I got the energy to sand it (and I'm sure lot's of rivits) off.. argg.. For painting, do you use an airbrush?

CRC Error means that the current file ....part02.rar is bad. Download that one again and try again. These download files have a key to check to make sure they are correct, it is called a Checksum. After you download a file, you can use a tool, like HashCalcto verify the file is good. You run HashCalc, and select the file, then enter the Checksum key and it will tell you if the file is good. It is kind of a hassle to do this, so I usually just download the file again. But I will check it's CheckSum if I still have problems... There are different kinds of Checksum files I guess (I really don't know that much about them). But these use the MD5 type of Checkfiles. And here are the keys for UP 3.0 if you want them... Hey SkyPup! We have been flying stock IL2 4.10.1, and last week UltraPack released a new beta that is finally compatible with that, UP 3.0. We have been flying that a bit as well, but it is not the final release yet..

Wow, nice find! It's amazing what people will throw away. I had an 80 year old lady friend who's pc was running slow. I told her she should just take the disks and pc into Best Buy and have them reinstall everything. All she did was surf the net and play solitare. But the guy at the store sold her a brand new pc!! Probably threw her old one in the trash too....
