    Roll Call!

Hmm... I'll see if I can make it. I am liked minded in that I just want to have fun blowing shit up. Not sure i want to spend my time manually starting my engines and stuff like that..
  2. Lay'in Pipe...
  3. Yes, that is awesome. I printed that out 2 sheets per side, and both sides of the page to make a booklet. Very handy..
  4. Yes, thanks for hosting Jedi. Now I know what I need to work on.. Not burning out my engine.. One step at a time.
  5. I lost my Falcon 4.0 CD two years ago.. I remember searching for it for an hour several times.. But I found it last night! It was in a paper CD sleave behind another CD. Yea! Downloaded and installed BMS today to check it out..
  6. IMHO if you have the basic controls assigned (throtte, joystick, etc..) and can get up in the air that is all you need to fly online. I may try to join if I can find time this afternoon... Asas, remember how much you learned when you first went online with me and the dogz? Yes you crash and make mistakes, but you learn a lot more that alone, and nobody really cares. If you are one more easy target for them they are usually happy.
  7. This new Falcon really does look sweet! Wish I had enough brain cells in working order to play it...
  8. Yea, a little PSE9 and Photomatix
  9. I only uploaded a few of my pics. To see the rest you can watch a slideshow here.
  10. I don't have my CD handy, but I've heard of that problem before. I think you have to click on another .exe on the disk top get the install to work. It's a known problem..
  11. Aww.. Shucks. Thanks guys. I took a photography class last winter. My first ever, but these pics were create mostly from what I read and learned on my own since then. That first one is on the Crystal River in Glen Arbor, Michigan. Just off camera to your left is a Putt-Putt Golf. I took a pic of this same shot with my cell camera last year because I thought the composition was just awesome. So, I went back this fall with my Nikon D5100 that I just got. Yes, that white barn in the other pics was in some other pics I took last year. The pics weren't as good, but that whole area is great. Anybody could take lots of great pics up there..
  12. Oh, I am jealous!! I really wanted to learn this sim. I was fairly good with the A-10A in Lockon FC2 and made a 20 mission campaign called 'When Hawgs Fly' and other missions. But the only squads I was friends with who flew this was the Warhawks and I think they start their engines manually. I spent hours trying to get my old brain to memorize all of the switches to start the engines and only got half way, and then summer came along... But winter is coming, so maybe I'll try again if CloD doesnt' get in the way..
  13. Hmm, I have not heard of anybody having to do all of that. I would do a fresh install like you tried. Are you saying the setup.exe was "fireing up when you clicked on it", or did you get it to install and it was il2fb.exe that was "fireing up"? I have heard that the memory should be set at 512 I think to run and just fly the game. I have mine set to 1200 Ram usage to mission build. And I fly fine with that as well. I have 6gigs of Ram. I had one major problem with the game shutting down when I tried to start it. The Selector program was complaining about not having access to the game folder or something. It turned out to be my Antivirus blocking it. I had to add the game folder and il2fb.exe to the whilelist/approved programs in my AV. That fixed it. I run BitDefender as my AV and everyone with that AV had the same problem. I think there was at least one other AV that also had this issue. Snack PS: You might try buying IL2 1946 from Steam to install fresh? Just $9 I think...

    Hello All

Thanks Glenn. Well, I just had to fix my missions from UP2 to work with UP3. They made changes that fracked them all out of whack. But once I spent the time to id the primary issues they all came together... Look forward to fly'in with ya..

  16. I just got an new camera a month ago. It's a Nikon D5100.
  17. I tried to show SH5 to my uncle up at the lake this week and had problems. But I did finally get it connected and was able to who it to him. But I was staying next door, at my aunt's cottage, and she does not have wifi. So, I found myself leaning out the window, or walking around they yard, just to try and get on his wifi for 2 seconds to connect so I could play. That sucks. At least Steam has an Offline mode that is supposed to let you play when not connected. It worked at first, but then it started asking if I really wanted to start in Offline Mode, and when I clicked Yes, it said it couldn't connect to the server and ended. WTF!!
  18. Not sure what DRM protection is, but you still need to connect to the UBI server just to start the game. After you connect the server is no longer needed though. These mods make it a whole new game. Far beyond what you would expect from just the devs. ALSO: Check this out: http://www.silenthuntermods.com/forum/index.php?topic=692.0
