I agree Crash, the A10c has a lot of stuff you can learn. Way more than the A10a in FC2. But I am finding the following Comment by one of the DCS Forum Moderators to be fairly true:

Thanks GK, I'll give that a try. I had seen that site, but had not read it all because everything else I saw showed you just had to make a bootable Lili XBMC usb stick and boot. It was supposedly that simple.

I found this XBMC free Media Center software and they said how easy it was to make a bootable usb stick without installing anything. I made the stick twice, but it doesn't work for some reason... It boots with LiLi (Linux Live) and then XBMC asks for a userid and password, so I enter xbmc/xbmc (I had to search for that login as it was not in the instructions), and then all I get is some command prompt... Argg... Just wanted to take a look at it.... Too much frustration... Wondering if anybody here uses this. It looks kind of cool...

I agree and this should be the OFFICIAL POLICY of the Dogz all the time. We should stick to what works until we can get some members to test new stuff out. That is where things got all out of hand when we moved to UP 3.0. We had a few who started to host that and we all kind of just moved to it without ANY discussion at all. It BROKE ALL of my missions!! Plus the other problems people had. This is just common sense and has been 'sort of' a rule since we first started using mods in the beginning. But it should be made our DangerDog Mod Policy. Snack

Looking forward this fixing a few issues. We can always go back to RC4 if we want. It's not an issue...

I saw something in the readme about the HUD symbols not being see outside the actual HUD. I was hoping they fixed it so the HUD actualy zoomed in/out correctly, or is it just me. It sucks...

Are the accomidations so hard to get that you have to start this early really?? Just wondering... And if JP or any other American is actually considering this, I would like to know. As I 'might'.. I had to travel... and i hate the summer heat... but who knows...

Just what I needed. Thanks for posting.. The so called '99%' are out of touch. They are actually in the Top 3% of the Most wealthy people in the entire WORLD, simply because they live in America! The other 97% poorer people in the world would give their left nut to have half of what these poor 99%ers have..

Ahh yes, Thanks. It is a combo with the RCtrl button. So, if I have my Targeting cursor on a hat, I can just hold the RCtrl button down and use the hat for trim as well.

I'm still learning the basics and have a question about Trim and the Target Cursor keys... The Quick Start manual says that these are the key assignments for both of these: Trim Up, Dn, Lf, Rt - ; . , / Target Cursor Up, Dn, Lf, Rt - ; . , / How does it work that these both have the same keys assigned?

Yep, that's the same keys for auto start in BS and LO.

Can you link two computers together and dedicate one to that card? I'd hate to give up 3 slots.

Were running the latest v1.1.0.9 I assume.. Just noticed that patch since I installed.

I have a great checklist that I got from Boomer, but it's still a lot to do. It still takes 5-8 mins at least. And a checklist still requires you to know where the switches generally are.

I used to love to dodge missiles with the A10a in Lockon FC2. The best way is to let them shoot at you. Taunt them to do it and keep an eye on them. You have got to see the missile and when it is about 1km or a little less from you dive and turn into it so it cannot make the turn. I would try and fly parallel to the target so I could watch it off my 3 or 9 o'clock, then when the missile was launched I would wait for it to get close and then dive and turn into it like I said, and after it misses run away, climb back up and do it again until he is out of missiles. Then kill him. It takes some practice and you'll die a lot. And you need to know how many missiles he has, etc..
