Guys, I think the Founders group should have a meeting about this. The way Smash joined the squad was different than this. I knew him personally and brought him in not knowing the age limit. He was not let in at that point. Our Founder Jim made the decision months later after flying with him and talking a little with me about him and his mom not only give her approval, but being happy he could join with me and you guys. Please wait until an official decision is made.

I like gadgets, and that is very cool, but all you need is your TAS, and the speedbar mod puts that on your screen. IL2 is not complicated enough for gadgets like that IMHO. Maybe if we flew with wind regularly that would be helpful though..

Well, as many of you already know, I got to ride in the cockpit and nose of a B-25J Mitchell bomber yesterday. It was the Miss Mitchell of the Commemorative Air Force. There was a Fly-In/Airshow in Urbana, Ohio at the Grimes Field last weekend to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Doolittle Raiders. They had 25+ B-25's there! Unfortunatly, I didn't find out about this until the day it started, and I had relatives in town all weekend. But I was able to make it down there yesterday, and hoped there was still something going on. I was in luck. There were still 5 aircraft there, and the crowd was only about 60 people. And Admission was FREE!! The bomber ride however, was not.
