      Yep, PropNut has it. Ran about 30m of cat5 from the room with the router in it via the loft to the computer room. Nice to have a halfway decent connection again.

      I don't think the legions had BT broadband in the Castra, or maybe the legatus needed his fix of internet. I wouldd rather have snow and cold than heat. Frostbite is quite unpleasant though.

      kimos right. have the right gear, its fine, ware 19th century wool and cotton, freeze to death. theres lots of decent modern fabrics out there which are awesome, my problem when working outside in winter is often being to hot, except for my hands.
