  2. ~S~ DT, why not get an understanding colleague to chase you around with HIS/HER arms outstretched............or is that likely to happen anyway ?? LMAO I know what you mean M8, I missed the sessions immediately before and after Duxford due to tech probs and started to get a "little bit jumpy" Hell I'm not even sure I want to go to Holland for a week as planned in August because I won't be able to fly !! 6. ~S~, Chris, no m8, no bleep at all, no screen except for a "no signal" box if I physically turn monitor on. Dave, yes its still under warranty.(but what a pain setting everything up again !!) Rog, CMOS reset, ah I think thats what Haweyepierce is going to try tonight. He said he would bring a disc which would boot my BIOS (or something like that) Mike, dam right cucking fomputers M8 !!! ~S~ Brainless.
  7. ~S~ Chaps, Sorry I didn't fly Tuesday as intended but my lovely new computer has gone tits up !! It is not sending a signal to the monitor, X52, and Keyboard . Tried to run old keyboard and monitor from it with no luck. Have carefully checked all wires and connectors , all seem ok ? Have a M8 comming over tomorrow to have a look and maybe find out whats gone wrong. Just when I thought everything was going great, this happens AHHHHHH !! ~S~ Computerless.
  8. ~S~ Rog, I'm interested in an average to poor quality DVD of same ?? ! @ Psycho, you forgot to say we would be naked in the car park, (parking lot ) whilst using our finger cannons M8 !! LMAO ~S~ Witless.
  9. ~S~ Rattler, I love cockpit detail, its best when they "raise" the instrument detail so you can dry brush it don't you think ? Are you going to scratch build some "fag butts" ,(English version), to put in the ashtray ?
  10. ~S~ Dave, if it was easy we could take no pride in our creations M8 ! LOL Keep at it. Looking forward to seeing the pics. ~S~ Painless

  14. ~S~ Rog, if it were BG he would have thought even faster.... "Good day ladies, are you aware that this is a private pond ? I do hire it out at $40 per person per minute however "

  16. ~S~ Delta , Nice to have you back M8 !! See you in the virtual skies soon . ~S~ Painless
  17. ~S~ DT, I to played COD just to see what the fuss was all about. I must admit it was a great deal of fun but the severely limited freedom of movement soon made it feel very "samey". Strange as this may sound I sometimes go round to Hawkeyepierce's place and just watch him play stuff like "Hitman",(first person shooter), and such. Its good fun both comming up with a plan to get through each level and he is much slicker than I when it comes to pushing the buttons ! LOL IL2... worlds apart as far as immersion is concerned, I only really hope for better technology to make the sim even more realistic. Things like monitor goggles for 360 deg vision, incredible cinema quality sound and a seat that tilts around with aircraft movement. Maybe even a WWII period stick, throttle and pedals.
  18. ~S~ JP, RESPECT ! Little tiny cockpits for wiry Englishmen !! No burger eaters need apply ! LMAO. TY for sharing m8. ~S~ Painless
  19. ~S~ Psycho , do they still hate the Germans, or is it the Russians ?? LOL Dam you Jensen , you beat me to it !!! LMAO ~S~ Painless
  20. ~S~ Kling, Never a truer word spoken M8 !!! Half the little punks in this country don't have 10% of the character and backbone that the bloke who ran the NAAFI van had in the summer of 1940 !!! I know this to be so because I have to deal with the little bastards from time to time. ~S~ Painless
  21. ~S~ FANTASTIC !!!! thats the way to do it. Even though I must have seen that one hundred times, my eyes still fill up ! "steer 230".... "repeat".... "steer 230"....."repeat please".... "awww struth".... "SILENCE in Polish!!!!!!" Bloody priceless ! ~S~ Born 45 years too late.... Painless
  22. ~S~ Kling, awesome track M8 ! Talking about flying "out of your comfort zone" I think we have quite a few very good T and B flyer's in the K9's but very few equally good B and Z experts. This leads me to believe that most folks "comfort zone" is to get stuck in and see what happens. You , Ace and a couple of others seem to be the only ones who have the discipline to watch and wait for that low risk kill. That track shows that you can T and B with the best of us when thats what is required but not many of us ,(myself included) have the patience to B and Z well consistently. My own "out of comfort zone" experience was practicing with Pete, (Rattler) for the 2 vs 2 in P40Ms funnily enough, purely because of the no icons settings we were using That , rather than aircraft type seemed to effect the way I flew ,(got the crap shot out of me LOL). They used to say , and probably sill do, "first man to spot the enemy survives" Anyway, these are the ramblings of a very tired little soldier, (two busy night shifts), so please excuse M8. Hope all is still funky in Norway, cheers ,
