I have to agree with TOAD. You are shortly going to need a new mobo and a quad core CPU. I'd also consider 4 gbs of DDR 3 ram and Windows 64bit. Your cards are going to be fine.

Thanks Colin but I have no problem with the game. There is a great thread in Community Help Ubi Zoo that describes how to set up il2 in widescreen. It's typing this post and reading it, where I have the problem.

Can somebody help an old geezer out please? Just got a new 24" Samsung monitor and the print size and density are so small and faded and very hard to read. I have tried changing the print in Fitrfow options to a bold and large face but they don't seem to make any difference. I fear I will not be able to read briefs any more. .

I suspect we will give a lot of it away.

The big pond should be around 18ft. The one where I got stuck maybe 15ft.

An update on my pond digging. Now flooding up. I will be able to set the final height of the water, next spring, when I place the culvert. I'll set the height about a foot below the island. The big pond will flow into another pond , also with an island. This is the pond where I got stuck, now almost finished. Once again I will control the height of the water with the culvert.

The people who own the hives came over last night and gave us 40lbs of honey! I love honey but 40lbs! They are really delightful people and look after us well.

It's time Pook. I am scheduled to have my Internet connection upgraded on Monday, BOB is just around the corner and we need more Danger Dogz, and I am sick of Sid and Painless having a better computer than me. I can't imagine what 6GB of ram can do. Sata 3 and USB 3 also look good. I am going to Toronto next Thursday with a pocketful of cash and will publish my specs as soon as I buy.

Not sure I can wait for a full upgrade now that Oleg says BOB is very, very close. I may just pick up everything I need next week.

Have always been an ATI fanboy Kelly. I have tried buying the whole computer but she says she needs it for faxing stuff!!! She is short of money and is really betwixt and between about parting with the video card. The husband died suddenly and the police suspect he may have been poisoned. They are doing an autopsy on him. The Bank is refusing to pay off a big mortgage until the autopsy results are known. They only took out mortgage life insurance on him earlier this year when they renewed the mortgage. There is also a big car loan. She tried to sell it to the dealer where he bought it but the dealer says the car is worth much less than the outstanding loan.

I have decided to do a partial upgrade in preparation for a full upgrade as soon as BOB is released. The card comes with a lifetime guarantee. She has until Friday to decide and if she doesn't want to part with it, I will buy a Sapphire 5970 for $640 + or -. May also get a Corsair 1000 PSU for $200. I will then transfer the rest of my current computer over to the new case.
