  1. Thanks for the visit Doctor B16. Changing the setting in the ATI Control Centre to 3D and then playing with the gamma and the brightness settings worked like a charm. I can even get the A20/Mossie mission to appear bright as day and I will at last be able to find ground targets for a change. Of course, I will continue to kill friendlies unless there is a setting for that too. And to think I have had this disadvantage for the past few years; ever since FB first came out. I would enourage all who read this to think about an adjustment to your gamma if you are using Cat Control Centre.
  2. I changed my gamma settings to the point that everything looks faded on the desk top but when I click on FB, the screen goes darker again, the game loads and I don't see a big brightness difference in game. I have been in and out of the game all morning and a couple of times, the game opened much brighter but now it has reverted back to a darker image. I think you are going to have to charge for house calls.
  3. On it's way Mobius one. I think there is a post somewhere on the Forum but I can't find it for now.
  4. Sorry guys. Qauzi has been having computer problems lately and may have to shut down for several days. I thought things were a bit quiet last night and dropped over to Quazi's DD TS a couple of times to see if anyone was there. You should always check the back up, just in case.
  5. Yes please Dave. Cool skin and thanks for the offer.
  6. I think a few of them would look good in your garden CG.
  7. You will notice Helen has not yet cut the 7th green. I just tell Bonnie & Clyde to go sit on their rock and, fearing the wrath of BG, off they go. Then when I want them to pose, I say "watch me" and they oblige.
  8. As some of you know, I build lawn furniture in my spare time from Ontario white cedar that comes off our property and my dear wife sells them down in Toronto where we get a good price. Proceeds are more than enough to keep me in scotch. The first pic is a finished single Muskoka chair. Please note the golf green and tee back in the distance of the 7th, par 3 hole. The next one is a new creation; the double chair with table. Stole the design off the web. Here the wife heads off to the big city to peddle her wares.
  9. Cleaned out both Firefox 1.05 and the Beta version and deleted all the folders which were left over. Did a clean install of 1.05. Strangely enough all my bookmarks reappeared plus all the extensions. It did clean up the password remembering issue I had. Thanks again for your help B16. You proved once again, you really know your stuff. Was there ever any doubt? I wonder what new challenge tomorrow will bring.
  10. I always do what I am told by those who are smarter than me and of course my wife. I have used the method suggested by Bbloke but the result is still the same. It creates an shortcut which won't open unless go through the complete ritual of assigning an icon and it won't stay. Never did this before but it is doing it now m8s. VNC me and see for yourself.
  11. Hi B16, me again. This bloody thing keeps popping up when I click on one of the link icons. Also could you tell me where I find the Firefox icons please? I know it was Windows but which file are they in?
  12. That Canadian coin is worthless Enforcer. Better send it to me m8.
  13. That's the way I used to do it but for some strange reason, I couldn't get the web page minimized enough to be able to drag it over to desktop. Now for the grand prize! Rog, every time I click on the new links, I keep getting the box that asks chose which programme even although I have always marked..
  14. To install spell checker in Firefox: http://www.wildtangents.net/2006/02/04/ ... efox-1501/
  15. Yes Please. This computer stuff is starting to get to me.
  16. I must be really thick! (Nobody say a word). After I get to Desktop, I can't find anythinbg that says web tab
  17. I was trying to create a shortcut to desktop this morning and I now have this on my desktop and I can't get rid of it. Two questions. How do I get rid of this and what is the proper way to create a desktop shortcut for a webpage?
  18. No Glenn, please don't delete it. I was just trying to be humorous too. Anyone who could take offense at that doesn't belong in the Danger Dogz. Honestly it was very funny.
  19. Do you really think the movie would suffer if they just left the dog out and saved themselves a pile of grief?
  20. Uhhhh, humor?!? :? Ah that's ok then. I thought you were bashing us Brit's Hold on....... I am not a Brit, I am Canadian. Continue bashing and it was very funny.
  21. And your point Mr. Doubletap is?
  22. A spell checker for Firefox again! Great news. I almost gave up using it when Spellbound wouldn't work anymore. Thanks for the heads-up.
  23. Yes, I saw his thread earlier today. Some absolutely classic stuff.
  24. I tell you Mobius One you will have a blast. Each mission has a time limit and as you get close to the end everyone starts to panic to reach their respective objectives. But quite frankly, it doesn't really matter which side wins as long as you have a good time is what counts. Having said that, we are going to whip all your red asses.
  25. Thank you Mr. Doubletap sir for your kind comments about my signature. But all credit for it must go to our inhouse creative department, Mr Arsenal. I have been using it on the UBI Zoo Forums for some time now. Aresenal said he would gladly do a GIF signature for any of the Danger Dogz if they could tell him what they wanted. I just told him I wanted something NICE. He could probably do a nice moving cigar thing for your Churchill like he did for Bill and Monica L.
