  1. As above from te other guys, you did a great job and we as a team did very well. I have a new found respect for the Stuka too, must play with it more often! Good idea Pooka, a briefing pause between missions would be great and easy to do on an honour system (both sides agree to load mission but not spawn or a 'dummy' map with identical objectives but no planes loads and is then rotated after designated time, this allows us to see objectives and discuss without seeing the opposing forces displacements.

    Sig Help

I think I'll leave you two to it As I wait patiently for a chkdsk to complete on my 300Gb hard drive on my desktop, before I zap it
  3. Welcome squire Easier for me as I can just change your name in the Data base
  4. Me too, and it can be done but mayhap DT has more than enough on his plate
  5. OK m8, I'll sort it for you and email you when done.

I still love this page, sad but true: Type: 'french military victories' at google.com and click 'I'm Feeling Lucky'. Great post Kelly

  9. Extracted from an email from Delta7:
  10. Of course you can! If the forum here won't allow it PM or email me and I'll do it for you
  11. Well done Pooka!
  12. Hi M8. Please look at this thread: http://forums.dangerdogz.com/viewtopic.php?t=117 It should be relatively easy to use, but let me know if you need any help, I can for instance take over your desktop and show you step-by-step how to do it. Although I reckon you'll be fine! Using ftp is preferable due to security and size restrictions. It is also much easier to add multiple files (when I finally persuade BG to upload his missions files ).
  13. And getting a 190 off the deck is challenging too, managed it once shortly after PF came out. Don't know if subsequent FM changes hinder or help...but it needed teh entire deck to get up!

    Useful Links

Excellent remote control application, and it's free! Used this with BG today, I was able to view his desktop and assist with configuration of his system. It also includes an excellent file transfer module, I popped a TiR profile into his TiR folder for him as we talked! http://ultravnc.sourceforge.net/ Well worth getting now, or at least book marking as it can help immeasurably
  15. FWIW it was I, and I'm a Brit It's civilised here, no country/nationality bashing. And it'll stay that way so long as I am admin Middle East are fair game though
  16. If you read the credits carefully on one or two of the above you'll see my nick
  17. Great uplifting read, thanks!
  18. I too swear by imaging proggies. I use ghost personally, as do several others here, but Acronis has a good rep too. I'm on the verge of re-instating my clean build too soon, too much development stuff been loaded. Plus I need to de-couple all my controllers to suck some video down of our Tivo type box.
  19. Are you kneeling or standing on your laptop? And that owl ooks hungry...watch out! I've stickied this thread, as per BG's request last month (almost prompt am I ).
  20. LOL, if you do get a tan from your monitor you spend way too much time in front of it, and you have the brightness up waaaaay to far If you need sunglasses to look at it it's too bright
  21. I had a Triton when I left the Army in '81. Wide line featherbed, T150V mill road holders (IIRC) forks, clip-ons, rear sets and a nice ally Manx tank. Had a condenser mod so no battery was required, and Boyer-Bransdon electronic ignition. The triple sounded sooo sweeet through a reverse mega 'silencer' that was home made, I always used to say it sounded like a demented Merlin. I nearly cried when it threw a big end out through the crank case, I no longer had the earnings to repair it so it was eventually sold for the bits. Beautiful head turning ride.
  22. The magazine I subscribe to, PC-Pro here in the UK, tested a bunch of anti-spyware apps and Spyware Doctor came out on top, and is still rated as their 'A' list solution. Woofiedog over @ UBI forums had an issue with an older version of it, a patch was available that I found for him.

    AWOL

Sorry to hear your news m8. I hope it's a decent package and you soon find the job that brings you both satisfaction and the level of income you desire. My enforced un-employment had a silver lining, I get to spend quality time with my wife whilst the kids are at school
  24. LMAO spot on as always DT
