I was able to get this problem resolved using Discord support. You need to create a Discord support account since Discord & Discord Support are separate from one another. Not sure why they felt it was necessary to separate them but that is how they chose to do it? Considering the absolute horror stories I read online about their support, or lack thereof, I was resigned to the fact that I had likely lost my Discord account forever. Even so I created a Support account and I gave them a shot at resolving my problem. It took a few emails with them but their response time was quite quick and it only took a couple of days to resolve the problem and I was quite happy with the outcome. The first support tech did have to bump it up to a higher level though. The problem was being caused on their side because for some reason their system kept bouncing anything sent to the email account I used to register. Once Support removed the block from my email address their system had put on it I was able to login to my account normally. After I logged into my account I changed the email address associated to it as a precaution against the same issue happening again with that email address. Wheels

For some reason unknown to me Discord has decided recently to quit playing nicely and in the process give me a huge headache when it comes to logging into the site. I am using the correct username and password but Discord just will not me login to the site. First Discord gave me a captcha challenge that I seemed to pass but the site would still not let me login. No rhyme or reason given it just did not take me to my account Next Discord wanted me to pass the captcha challenge and it prompted me to change my password and I attempted to jump through that hoop. Nope the password reset email never arrived, on more than one occasion. I have searched for a support feature to address my problem with the Discord account but have not been successful. Has anyone else had success finding and using a Discord support feature? I was using a saved Bookmark to get to the Discord site when the problem initially arose and I have attempted to use a direct link I typed in the browser line and I end up having the same problem. It has been several years since the heyday of Hyperlobby and Jiri announced recently that he will be closing the Hyberlobby forums. The game server has already been disabled. I keep wondering what happened to @il2crashesnfails when I come across another one of his old threads. He was everywhere posting prolifically for a few years and then he just dropped off the map at some point in 2020. Everything went dark at roughly the same time too. Hopefully it was just a change in gaming style and not something else that caused him to disappear so suddenly. Wheels

It has been three sessions now and the battle field should become more active now that our two forces have met on the ground. The last ground battle just before the session ended was awesome to watch even strictly as an observer. I didn't think we were ever going to take out @DD_Petrol's tank. I saw several, what I thought were finishing, hits before he was finally immobilized. Is anyone having lag issues with our server? Other than unlocking the weapons loadouts on the tanks are there other requests? Are the missions fun? Wheels

Lol, if you have such mastery with your gunnery skills that you can pick and choose where you are going to hit an enemy vehicle with your bullets and bombs so the pilot does not get killed I salute you again @Squee7e. In my case if I get bullets, bombs, or rockets on target it is practically a miracle so I have to be satisfied that I hit the target and hopefully got out of the engagement area before getting shot down or doing something else boneheaded that gets me killed. 😁 Wheels

I took what I quoted in my prior to mean that v5.0 had been in your private group vault at one time but it is totally understandable after all this time for it to have gone AWOL. No one seems to have v5.0 or v4.0 in their files these days so not finding it here either is not all that surprising. Wheels

After the full 352n VFG group session Friday, April 04, 2025, Bender, Mars, Sighter, & myself moved over to Benders dogfight server and flew a few races. In the last race of the evening for the four of us Sighter had an epic crash right in front of me that I was able to capture in almost all of its glory. I uploaded a full speed version with sound and a second one in Slo-Mo, quarter speed, with the sound muted. Since this was so long ago here are some insights for you from the other side of the battlefield. The 352nd was Single crew in every ground vehicle. I do not think we ever knew that you were multi-crewing the tanks. I know I did not know until I read this thread. Makes total sense now why some of you were able to engage us so quickly when we spotted one another. By Single crewing the tanks we were able to cover more ground more quickly but left us vulnerable to your multi-crewed tanks. We normally had about 4 max in the air and the rest of us were on the ground. Since the battle was for taking ground we almost fully conceded the air war. I will guarantee it was just as chaotic on our side of the battlefield. Duckman was your main nemesis in those situations. He is deadly accurate with the Sherman and any of the German tank guns. I will guarantee you that Deacon was shocked that he took out so many so quickly. Normally his gunnery was and still is pretty suspect. Lol, I wish our tactics had been that well thought out !! I can not speak for the rest of the group but I did not know that external view had been enabled during any of our sessions. Wheels

We have the HSFX History Mod Version 5.0 Hotfix 1 patch at Mission4Today in the HSFX: !nstallation Packages section but I have not been able to find a working link for the original v5.0 anywhere? Makes sense that the links are dead since the mod is so old but I would like to have all the files necessary for the mod packs so there will be a complete set at Mission4Today. Any chance that HSFX v5.0 is still in the vault or the long forgotten files of someone since I am not finding it in the publicly viewable downloads area. Wheels

This Full Mission Builder (FMB) problem has me stumped. It is happening for this individual in versions 4.12.2m and 4.13.4m. No mods installed in either version Test Runways not Appearing in FMB ??? Did anyone else ever have the same problem and how did you resolve it if you did? Wheels

No edits and no new content is being added at the moment. As I expected the move of the main site from the .com domain to the .net domain deleted the forum archives that had been hosted at the .net domain since 2008. There were still several threads with relevant information in the IL-2 Sturmovik archives. Not the least of which was the DGen studies thread.
