On the note to lead red.
I lead the last flight and was over whelmed with terror, what am I doing and sorry guys this way LOL. All thou I did bring my group home safely. As for leading Red flight beyond my pay grade, kudos to those who do it so well, such as yourself Fenrir. If Ross will fly that day we agreed that it was his turn to lead our Group or Perf. Squawk would definitely be my choice for lead, but I know for a fact that he said he be back at work flying on that date.

@DD_Sheriff Hello Ross! Hope you are well. You've traditionally been a regular on our previous outings; any chance you can make this one?
I know for sure he is interested as for if can make it on that day I can not speak for him, but I will certainly talk to him to reply here Fen.

Hey Friar,
Zukker is slowly improving with some movement in his legs allowing walking exercises. His right arm he can't lift up, left arm has movement and can raise higher. He has some function as he surprised us by coming on Discord the other night sounding chipper and determined to work hard, and with time get back to flying with us.
It amazes us how friendly and close we all become toward each other, even over the net miles miles away.
Stay safe and Healthy my Friends. Wingy

Love to buy the C-130 but I purchased the Germany map so will have to wait a bit.

Very very tempting but,
If it was the guns and cannon version or Air to air refueling for my thirsty buddies then for sure. I know its a later version possibility.

Sorry I missed today Friar. Hope DCS Foothold behaved for you today, apparently scripted mission are hit and miss with the latest update especially DML missions which Cfrag is quite upset about.
If error occurs you have to add a script Autoexec.cfg to save games or Dedicated server, which my be a security risk if you use scripted missions. More about it down below link.
Id thought Id let you know. Wingflyr
Apparently they (ED) decided to incorporate Changes to the behaviour of net.dostring_in() which causes issues with missions.

I was sad to read of the departure of The Fighter Collection's Corsair from Duxford this year after 30+ years in the UK, now heading to a new owner in the US.
However, the warbird industry benefits from the back and forth of assets and a small consolation was the welcome addition of a Lysander project, that'll be three in the UK, a sight not seen for many years. That said, the recent news of TFC also selling their unique and lovely, super shiny P-36 and the continued silence around the future of Flying Legends, made me wonder if there's more going on here.
Many are aware that DCS are in legal battles with some of their 3rd party developers, RAZBAM reportedly haven't been paid by ED for over a year. I didn't realise but apparently other Devs such as Heatblur also report not being paid on time.
(For those that didn't know, Nick Grey of The Fighter Collection also owns Eagle Dynamics.)Now, I don't usually get involved in any of the DCS forum madness, but an aviation forum led me down this rabbit hole: Exploring The Dark Sides Of Digital Combat Simulator 🤯
Ultimately, I hope ED and the devs can sort all this out and TFC stop selling off aeroplanes!
Financially strained, seems a possibility, coming from this foul smelling news. Fingers crossed not the case.😦

It really is a beautiful beast isn't it? Stunning restoration. I'd love to see this at a show over here, it's been a good 10 years since we've heard a Daimler Benz in these shores.
If you can get your hands on a copy, I'd recommend the inaugural Vintage Aviation Echo (https://www.vaemag.com/preview-volume-i). Not only is it a wonderful publication, but one of the chapters is dedicated to Rote 12's restoration and test flight schedule, written by the pilot you see, renowned moustachioed RAF officer and warbird legend, Flt Lt Charlie Brown.
Fun fact: Both Fenrir and I flew with this gentleman in a Boeing Stearman many many years ago as RAF cadets on warm summer's evening as a reward for marshalling at an airshow. Ahhh memories.
Wow what a wonderful memory BB.

@wingflyr - Can we run two campaigns at the same time? I mean alternate weeks (to change the map and mix up the flying experience)?
Yes Collin you can. It will auto save in the same Saves folder you have for the Caucuses foothold you have now. You can alternate between the two or three or more if you wish.

Yes, I think I will hold off as we have at lot of things to play with. I have the Af-Stan but have not even touch it yet.
I wish they put their energy into the stuff that was announced and current maps. Marianas I know it free and doesn't make them any money but when released would stir up interest again and more purchases. The contents of the adds do make the product tempting to buy.( Tricks of the Trade)

I should be on tomorrow. I got my issue sorted out.

@wingflyr - the post where you provided downloads - are they the latest versions? I saw on the ED downloads that the Caucuses version I linked to was updated in March of this year, is the _01 version you provided a different version completely?
Yes they may have the latest updates, but the one you download will work, if you choose to use that one. You can update it later along the way and will still continue to work also.

@Squee7e It has the capability for you to fly many selections of A/C with a great feature ,
Dynamic spawning hot or cold with instant weapons loaded to your need for the mission.
