Its 6 months since Amber died and we have now got another rescue Retriever called Rosie

@BluBear @Friar @Zukker @wingflyr @DD_Sheriff @fruitbat @Ben griffiths @Perfesser Unfortunately, due to issues with the recent bug ED introduced with vast swathes of scenery going up in flames with even a single 500lb bomb hit, I am obliged to postpone this event until there is a fix; the prison is getting nuked with even just one Mosquito-load of bombs. I am as disappointed as you, but we are ready to go live as soon as the issue is fixed.

I was able to get this problem resolved using Discord support. You need to create a Discord support account since Discord & Discord Support are separate from one another. Not sure why they felt it was necessary to separate them but that is how they chose to do it? Considering the absolute horror stories I read online about their support, or lack thereof, I was resigned to the fact that I had likely lost my Discord account forever. Even so I created a Support account and I gave them a shot at resolving my problem. It took a few emails with them but their response time was quite quick and it only took a couple of days to resolve the problem and I was quite happy with the outcome. The first support tech did have to bump it up to a higher level though. The problem was being caused on their side because for some reason their system kept bouncing anything sent to the email account I used to register. Once Support removed the block from my email address their system had put on it I was able to login to my account normally. After I logged into my account I changed the email address associated to it as a precaution against the same issue happening again with that email address. Wheels

Only just seen the messages on Discord, shame it's a no-go for tonight but totally understand. I should however still be able to make it for the 1st.

We are hoping ED might post a hotfix this coming week, and even if they don't, Dixon at no.19 Sqn has developed a work around he is prepared to distribute to any would be participants; it would require replacing a weapons lua in your Core DCS directory but as long as you backup the original and replace it as soon as the event is over, it should not compromise your wider DCS multiplayer accessibilty.

I might be able to dust off a tank if that is ok? What time do you muster?

Sorry but you're 5,500 km away from me now, Vancouver is 3,500km away in the opposite direction.... not much of an improvement. Wave when you cross the Great Lakes though....

none that I know of. SRS to be used for the event for "realism" only. Might get used for the odd session if we get more used it. means we will have to learn how to work radios and/or do a bit more work in the mission to make sure all available units have the correct channels available.
