Holy carp that last tank battle during our session earlier was epic. I really thought you were going to hold the ground. Imo, your tactics and team cohesion are getting tougher and tougher for us to counter. Hopefully by the next session my heart rate has dropped back down to normal. 🙃 Wheels

I am as disappointed as you, but we are ready to go live as soon as the issue is fixed.

A quieter night last night, with just Squawk, Friar and me available for duty. However, a surprising amount of progress was made with this small but powerful taskforce: A number of enemy pilots were captured and interrogated, revealing dastardly plans and adding valuable credits to the pot. The Insurgent group discovered on the mainland North of Moradi was successfully cleared out. And, I'm happy to report that Qeshm Island is now in our hands! Flying from Khasab and bolstered by a couple of AI SEAD groups (that were largely used as bait) I managed to eventually eliminate the SA11 sites on the Island and then focus on clearing out the ground targets. By a stroke of absolute genius luck, I'd accidentally bought a ground attack group of Leopard tanks early on (I'd meant to buy a CAS) that had an hour's drive from Moradi to Qeshm airfield. The timing was perfect for the end of the session, they rolled in, dispatched the remaining threats at the airfield and promptly captured it! A technique to remember for the future.

So I have checked we have the correct config file (I disabled the Apache from the ability to load supplies in the config, loaded up the mission and tried. The option was not available.) I have put the option back in and now changed the red spawn factor to 75% slower, I have also changed a number of red setting from Medium to easy which controls the number of planes based on the number of players. Lets see how those changes go on Thursday.

I had my first go at using the CARPs feature of the C130 (automated cargo dropping) this evening. Very pleased with myself as you can see from the shot below. Drop zone marked in red and manged to get 2 out of the 3 in plus one very close.

Salute With it being too cold and wet for Pickle ball this evening I have decided to take a further look into the new cargo functionality. This evening I have.... Loaded up a CH47 with the contents of a FARP. Flew to a location and unloaded to have a FARP location be spawned in. Returned to base and loaded up with jet fuel and Hell fires then returned to the FARP which previously had zero stores. Unloaded and checked the stores to find it now had a stock of jet fuel and Hellfires Returned to base and despawned to come back in aboard an Apache. Spawned in empty with only 20% fuel Took off to the new FARP and landed and was able to re-arm with hellfires (which were removed from the stock of the FARP) and also refuel (with the volume also being removed from the FARP). Returned to base and respawned in a Huey (yes Huey's can now cargo like the others) Loaded up some Aim 120's, too many in fact as I could not get off the ground threw some out and tried again. Went to the FARP and dropped off my load (no laughing at the back) Ideas for missions please?

Next April onwards you won't be able to get rid of me....

With help from @wingflyr I have upgraded the campaign to the latest version which has introduced some new features. The map will show state of warehouses Moving supplies to airfields now involves actually loading crates (C130, Hook and Huey) I have increased the chance of enemy force looking for downed pilots to 65% so rescue missions may need support I have increased the time from base capture enemy forces will try to take it back I have increased how quickly a base turns blue once captured We made need to tweak some more after the session tonight. We are hoping ED might post a hotfix this coming week, and even if they don't, Dixon at no.19 Sqn has developed a work around he is prepared to distribute to any would be participants; it would require replacing a weapons lua in your Core DCS directory but as long as you backup the original and replace it as soon as the event is over, it should not compromise your wider DCS multiplayer accessibilty.

I'll fly a Mossie but I don't think I'll commit to lead yet. Maybe if I get time for a few practice flights first.
