Spit Mk1A 1/24 Scale

Hello All

Here is my attempt at weathering ,and paint loss this is the Airfix 1/24 scale spitfire kit I choose to not use the engine display option and glued the panels in ,and also the magazine panels.Iam doing the P51 same scale so i might try that option

That is quite a nice effect M8 ! I think it could be incorperated with some other types of weathering and look the muttz nutz :D

Hey Mick all I did was piant silver all way down the leading edge,then I pianted were the crew would walk and wear around the cockpit guide furrows.then I got some oil and with a very fine brush dabed in those areas,and airbrushed over it of coarse were the small amounts of oil was located the pint would not adhere.Then I let the paint dry and gently wiped with a cloth and thats how that pint flake effect was acheived.

I will attempt to add that kind of wear to my 32nd Spit Mk I.

Have a look at this guys Spit, it's the most realistic I have ever seen in 32nd scale........
