Hard Drive Conundrum

SATA, is it enabled in the BIOS, or is it disabled. Check the manual that came with the board on how to switch it on.

Alternatively, you could go and buy a USB2.0 external enclosure for one of the drives. It would then end up being mobile to as well.

Something like this...

A reply in my Abit forum post that I hadn't seen until today:

"Well boys and girls i found out the problem The IC7 is not running the PCI clock correctly it should be set to 33.3MHz but it is not close enough

In Bios set Fixed divider, until they get it right

Telling us lame junk to try, if bios does not see a drive, a delay won't help. Must be sales with that stupid idea."

So...Does anybody here know how to fine tune a PCI clock?

I'll try the Bios Fixed Divider work around if I must.
