DDz Quorum Report Share Posted September 9, 2006 Not sure if I mentioned this before, the Navy Corpsman, John Bradley who helped raise the flag and whos son wrote the book is from my small town (8,000) Antigo, Wisc. I enlisted with his oldest son, Steve in the Marines in '67. The author of the book, James comes back to town every so often to visit, if anyone would like an autographed copy of the book, let me know. I'll buy it and you can pay me when recieved. John gave me a couple autographed pictures before he passed away, I never asked for them but they sure mean a lot to me now. DD_Pooka The locals were hoping they film part of the movie where he comes back to Antigo, but they shot that part in small small town near Chicago, we all missed our chance to see Clint in person.
