cannon_fodder
Hi guys, Ive finally had the chance to put togetter a few bits to build a new flying rig and am in the process of formating and installing all the bits and bobs.. would you suggest a clean install of 1946 from the DVD or draging the orignal install off my old HD?? Is there any check for which version of mod I am running. I know I have the 352nd switcher but cant remember if I patched it. Whats everyone flying at the moment?? Cheers CF
Snacko
For a new rig, I would just do a new install from DVD, and then install the AAA UI 1.1 and 1.1.1 patch from our vault. The DDz are flying the AAA mod pack now, and you will need that to fly most likely.
DD_Brando
Erm, isn't that: install the game and then patch to 4.08 before adding the AAA UI v1.1? Not all DVDs include patch 4.08. B
Snacko
Hmm.. I was thinking that the AAA was ok to install over 4.07, but I was wrong.

AMD3.0GHz X4 PhenomII(black) 4Gb DDR1066 and a HD4870pro and a 50Mb cable modem. just need to find all my old drivers and apps out of a stack of hundreds of CDs/DVDs.
