Arsenal Posted July 21, 2006 Posted July 21, 2006 I'm not big into comic books (p.c. term "Graphic Novels"), and I own exactly zero examples of one. I saw this posted in another board that I frequent and thought it looked pretty interesting. You can download a .pdf exerpt from the first edition. Seems to be a lot of rivalry and banter going on between the British and Americans, but I dunno, it could be good for some entertainment. This is what caught my eye though. Beufighters! Klinger Posted July 21, 2006 Posted July 21, 2006 Bloody brilliant. Like Roy Lichtenstein. This one reminds me of DTs Nemisis post. Quote
Dubbo Posted July 21, 2006 Posted July 21, 2006 It was reading Commando comics as a young lad that originally got me interested in WW2. I recently found a couple and I gave them to Beebop as he never got to experience them over here in the US Quote
Beebop-RIP Posted July 21, 2006 Posted July 21, 2006 It was reading Commando comics as a young lad that originally got me interested in WW2. I recently found a couple and I gave them to Beebop as he never got to experience them over here in the US They are cool comics. Very different than what I had as a child. But then I had a very different childhood. Which explains a lot. An awful lot. Quote
