Cold_Gambler Posted January 1, 2009 Report Share Posted January 1, 2009 Hi Cuda, if you have the graphics power to run at higher resolutions with 4X AA and AF; a 24" will knock your socks off coming from a 16" CRT! I wouldn't worry about "blockiness". I went for a 25.5 inch ViewSonic and I'm glad I did- with TIR it's a real immersion booster. You'll want to look for a high refresh rate (5 ms and lower is good)... there's a useful website: http://www.digitalversus.com/duels.php?ty=6&ma1=36&mo1=245&p1=2334&ma2=48&mo2=305&p2=2944&ph=9 which allows for comparison of different monitors.
