Klinger Posted January 16, 2008 Report Share Posted January 16, 2008 Just plugged in the new 'Pro' version of the X52, as a replacement for the old vanilla X52. The software would not work. Ok. I backed up, then uninstalled the Saitek software, rebooted, installed the X52 Pro software, and pasted in my old profile. No joy. The picture of the stick and throttle in the profile editor looks corrupted. Have I got a dodgy install? Is the X52 and X52 Pro compatable, software-wise? Klinger Posted January 17, 2008 Author Report Share Posted January 17, 2008 Apparently the X52 and X52Pro use different file systems. X52 is .dat - Pro is .pr0 All part of the fun, I suppose.
