I've read of others having issues.

Been a little smug because I have an nVidia card in my machine.

Sadly two of the kids PCs are equipped with a 9800 Pro and a 9800XT.

After the Cat 7.8 all newer drivers Disable Directx on these older cards!!!

Took a lot of work to prove it to my self, doing the driver install/remove/clean dance on two PCs, and patience from the kids who couldn't play the Sims 2 or Command and Conquer games.

What kind of company produces shite like that, such a fundamental bloody failure clearly showing lack of regard for 'legacy customers'.

Disabling Directx for goodness sake, what the fuck are their quality assurance team doing?!

They work fine on a 1950 Pro though, but that isn't the point.

The AMD/ATI partnership seems to have lost the customer focus.
