Hi guys, I suddenly had a thought last-nigh.. Will I need to buy a Heat sink (Fan) for the CPU or is one included in the box?? As I will most probably overclock the CPU at some point should I consider a better heat sink and Fan?? What about better cooling for the system like liquid cooling? Your thoughts?

I have had a similar problem and all it took was pressing the "Reset" button found at the bottom of the mouse!! If that does not work, then I agree with TOAD! Hope you get it fixed!

Hey David, Thanks for your details reply.. As always a great source of information!! I am most definitely going to tackle this as my short term project!! Ill go down to the local electric store on Saturday and buy the bits I need... Ill most definitely follow your advice and I am sure I will be back with some questions, and hopefully pictures of my progress!!!

I have been spending a LOT of time on this forum in the last view days... And must say am loving it... So I just wanted to say thank you for all the help that has been offered in my quest to build a good gaming pc and various other questions and issues.. I was looking through some youtube videos of ROF and IL2 when I looked for some DangerDogz videos and was happy to find quite a selection. Two stood out that I feel describes the comeradery on this website.. Firstly This one... Blairgowrie Remembered And Secondly, This one... All I can say is cant wait to have a social with some DangerDogz.... and Fruitbat... I cant wait to meet you!!!!

Hi Guys, I have a problem with my Saitek X45 joystick .. I have owned this X45 since its release (Think it was 2001) and it has always served my without any problem. When I stopped flying Sims a few years back I packed the stick away. With my return to the simulation world I unpacked the joystick and now it does not work. non of the buttons on the throttle lights up and also none of the axis of any of the hat switches or rotary switches work When you try to configure the joystick the x & y axis is all over the place.... and during installation the joystick fails the windows authentication. I have had a good look at the joystick and think I have figured out what might be wrong. It appears to be a fault with the Throttle socket (Where the throttle plugs into the main joystick housing) If you put a downwards pressure on the throttle plug (So putting an upwards pressure on the port in the joystick body) then all the lights lights up on the throttle and all the axis responds with the joystick working normally. I have opened the main joystick body and found the plug is soldered to a circuit board. Has anybody had a similar problem? Any suggestions in getting it fixed?

General feeling is not quite as good as TrackIR, not as easy to set up as TrackIR, but it does work and it is CHEAP

Hi Guys, I came across this today Free Track http://www.free-track.net/english/freetrack/qu-est-ce-que-c-est.php An alternative to TRACK IR.. and best of all, it is free!! Uses your webcam! Has anybody tried it?
