FUGLY! Nice one Sidly and Swep

Currently the June and September dates are 50/50 for attendance. Perhaps I should make a new poll that is one or the other?
I'll happily attend both, but can only stretch to an over night stay for one.
Whilst the June show is nearer and possibly better for weather, the September show will be more warbird focused and closer to the Legends-like experience.

Hey, I'm interested in this, but 8pm this evening is too early for me unfortunately. Should be on 9pm UK time.

An example of the kind of standards reached by some of this freeware...
What a coincidence! I finally went ahead and treated myself yesterday with the standard Steam version of MSFS and promptly downloaded this along with the airshow add on.
Started up and took off in an Extra for a 5 minute jolly and by jove it looks incredible. Almost like being there. Just need to get VR working now, map and tweak some more controls and get exploring.
On a side note, with everything that's going on at the moment, I'm not feeling much like blowing sh*t up, so this will do just fine I think.
Who's up for a Dogzford virtual meet up soon?

I'm not familiar with all the inner workings but, Isn't Eagle Dynamics Swiss-based?

The deluxe versions of the game give you extra planes you won't miss and extra airports you won't notice. Better to save your cash for planes you actually want. There are quite a few now on the market ranging from terrible to wonderful. Be aware that the stock planes that come with the sim are beautiful but some of the add-on stuff available often falls short of these standards. Due diligence is required before purchase and - with a few exceptions - avoid buying anything from within the ingame 'store'!
These were Arthur's thoughts, think I'll just go for the standard steam version and go from there.

Maj Sean O'Sullivan... has beed captured.
Word down the wire suggests after shooting down a 190A, Maj O'Sullivan took a hit, subsequently hit the silk and landed in the lap of the Wehrmacht on the frontline.

Thanks Arthur! You've answered everything with bells on there mate.
It does indeed look splendid, think I might have to fire up the Steam store at the end of the month

With the sad news that Flying Legends is once again cancelled this year, I'm suggesting that perhaps we could consider one of Duxford's shows to fill the void.
It's been far too long since we all got together to watch aeroplanes zoom overhead, drink a few pints and eat some curry.
Whatcha think?

Perhaps I'll pop up a poll Sidly, to establish who'd be up for which date if we were to make it a defacto substitute for dangerdogz-do-legends?
In all fairness, September is likely to be more warbird heavy so closer to legends in experience. I'd be happy with that.
