I was deadwooding some pines, really nice view over St Margarets bay (just up the coast from Dover), would of been even better without the grey sky thats been dominating for the last month....

I was looking for them the other day and could not find them. I thought there would be a link in the toolbar at the top or something....

talking to toad the other day on comms he asked me about the possibility of reducing the size of the icons on his minimap (non widescreen, so no ercan mod) like the mod in the thread asas mentioned above. I've done that already, and i think i can turn it as well, so its landscape instead of portrait too.
will upload when done.

Thanks Pook, that's just what I wanted to hear. I'm looking at a similar processor and 6gb of Corsair 10666 running at 1333 hz.
i'd get 1600Mhz memory personally, i've got 6GB corsiar XMS3 1600Mhz.
i've got a similar processor to pookas, an i7-940, and its a fantastic chip, used in conjunction with an asus P6T deluxe mb, so easy to overclock as well.

its probably your STD folder, either way disable both by putting a '-' in front of them, ie,
-STD
and
-Mapmods
i'm going on comms if you want to jump on.

do you have anything else in your mods folder?
have you disabled the UP standard version of the ercan mod in JSGME?

thats because your mod folder is disabled at the moment, remove the '-' in front of mods to enable it
as in
F:\Il-2 Sturmovik\MODS\2 Ecran_Wide
EDIT,
if you by any chance have a folder in your mods folder called STD, put a '-' in front of it, otherwise it will cause you issues.

Hi guys, i recently found and a really neat program called il2toolbox, which can read the air.ini, plane.ru and weapons.ru files and spew them out in the correct file format for the Quick Mission Tuner, so i have done this for UP2.01, as the files i got from BG were slightly out of date, and have now uploaded them to the vault here,

just extract the three files and copy into your QMT folder, overwriting the others.
I've added also the squadrons file to, as i've manually added quite alot of RAF squadron the were missing, as i needed them for what i was doing, so it seemed stupid not to include that to.

ok, i've gone through the stuff at SAS, and prepared this for you ROX,
Its the ercan widescreen 2 mod, i've added the no map frame, and i've also reduced the size of the airbase icon on the map too.

Just extract the zip folder, and place as is in your mods folder, NOT in the JSGME folder. Make sure you have the one in JSGME disabled.
It works, cause i'm using it now to!
I'm probably going to reduce the size of the aircraft icon as well, in the next few days.

what about phoning them back up friar, and trying to get a group booking/discount at the rate they originally gave you, in the name of the DD's. We're probally going to have at least 8 rooms. If they say no, tell them there loss, we shall go elsewhere as they're taking the piss, and that they can shove there hotel up there arse.
