  1. Now ,I think Fenrir would prefer the P38 calendar on that website to the Pirelli one.
  2. The strike fighters series is a bit strange, it is more of a "Sim light" with very little avionics to it. Give me the DCS series or F4 any day of the week.
  3. The herkybird sure is a cool aircraft.

    Sams Suck.

I found this video when tooling around on the falcon 4 forums, quite some interesting radio chatter there. Stroke 3 sounds like he had quite the handful. It's from the Package Q strike during the Gulf war.
  5. A big salute to all the Dogz and their families. 2011 has an eventful year, let us hope 2012 has better news. S! to you all, and absent friends.
  6. Merry Christmas. Eat and get hammered, just as it is supposed to be.
  7. They did, quite possibly through signal jamming and hacking the drones navigation system. I agree, quite strange that it did not have a self-destruct. The UAV in question seems to be the RQ-170, a very recent aircraft, and one that has mainly been speculated on.
  8. I sure as hell am, in the game that is. The game does not use a Class system as normal RPGs do, but skills are based on your actual use of them. I however, designed my character to be a classhole (A classy asshole)
  9. Mouse and Keyboard all the way Trib, it is a very good PC game.
  10. I wouldn't say skyrim is more desolate than Cyrodiil, its just different in terms of terrain. Whereas Oblivion had mainly forests and swamps (and a few snowy mountains), Skyrim is slightly more varied from tundra enormous mountain chains to birtchforests. There are plenty of towns to see, all with their distinct flavour. If you enjoyed oblivion you will just love Skyrim and the wilderness is a lot more "wild". It runs fairly well on most systems, as it is a game designed for consoles as well. I don't think you should have much of a problem there Trib.

    Hb-Bg

Happy Birthday Jim, you are sorely missed.
  12. What you actually got your nuclear reactor going there Rog?
  13. I have a 11.6 EEE PC netbook I bought 3 years ago, wonderful little thing, a bit slow these days however. You really need to get the ones with a 1360x768 resolution or higher. My sister bought one this year for around the same price that runs 1400x900 and has a fairly decent dualcore processor. It runs W7 and runs most programs just fine, just don't expect to play games on them. But if the laptop is going to be their main computer I'd go for a 15.6'' one. The netbooks may be very useful and extremely portable (takes up less space than my folders), they do come with quite a performance and monitor penalty.
  14. I have been following this for quite a while, really interesting and thoroughly exhausting in the daily updates.
  15. "I'll just measure it against my c*ck" That is why gentlemen, why some men are just awesome.
  16. I'd really want to do that someday. Just how expensive would it be really? Except the amount of time, and the engine cost, how much would all the fabric and metal cost?
  17. Get A10C, they are coming out with flaming cliffs 3 pretty soon. Getting the A10 started and ready is not all that difficult.
  18. I'm not a gambling man, but I'd like to see both of them succeed in their endevour. Gentleman's wager or a drink at duxford next year? On the CloD patch that is. I'd wager atleast a 30% increase in frames.
