  1. Nice one Rattler, I've heard good things about those, what kinda amp do you have it plugged into?
  2. 5 points to Rog, it is a bad joke in new latin, Always where under where, but it sounds like "always wear underwear".
  3. Happy Birthday Jim, have an awesome day.
  4. Agree, criminals should get a harmonica, and that should be it. I guess killing a hobo at 70 would not be such a bad idea. Although over here tax fraud and economic crimes gives you a longer sentence than most violent crimes and rape.
  5. My new MSFFB2 is here, 9SEK, or about 1$, beat that. Works perfectly.

  12. Silence is an interesting topic actually. Sound is usually defined by most people as something one can hear, thereby implying some form of observer requisite. However, as we all know the physical definition of sound is vibrations of mass in certain patterns and wavelengths. Therefore one may ponder if the age of question whether a tree falling in the woods but no observer is present, is actually a sound emitted. If one postulates that sound is needed to be heard to be called a sound, i.e an observer hearing the falling, the absence of an audible reception would render the tree silent. One would then assume that all the myriad of vibrations that occur are merely a cacophony of vibrations and not sounds unless they are actually heard. However this would require some form of definition or quantification of what can actually be regarded as heard. In conclusion, there are two separate paradigms evolving from this dispute, one stringently positivist and the other relying on largely normative statements. To return the the original topic, silence may not be silence after all. How about that?
  13. Spend the evening reading a biography on Gaius Julius Caesar, what an interesting man.

Try locating a copy of ‘The Battle for Gaul’, translated by Anne and Peter Wiseman.

It’s an English translation of Caesar’s chronicles. I think that you will enjoy it.

  14. Flying Lock on/black shark tonight, if anyone is interested

  15. Hang in there Jim, You'll beat this thing.
  16. I think what is needed is a debit card, such as a master card or visa, but the account isn't required to have credit assigned to it. The only difference between the ATM and the simple "bank cards" and the newer debit cards are the mechanics of the transfer, I think. The bank do however charge about 10-15£ annually for those cards though. I'm not a big fan of the whole overdraft or credit thing either, its easy to get suckered in and get pretty screwed.
  17. The dichotomy presented here concerning the landings begs the question what can be defined as a a landing. Surely the stationary propellers of the landed aircraft indicates a landed aircraft, as proposed by the warning written on the ship itself. The juxtaposition of which lends it self to a slight tang of sarcastic comedy to an otherwise stressful situation. Concerning the duality of what can be considered a landing, one can only surmise that the aircraft cannot be fully determined. This state of rest can be compared to Schrödinger Hellcat, where a plane can both be seen as crashed or landed until observed. Ergo, one can suggest that the three aircraft detailed above can both be described as landed and crashed, as neither definition is sufficient to fully describe the state of the vehicles nor completely exclude them from the two possible explanations. However, if we add non-positivist material into the study, the adage "any landing you walk away from" lends itself to label these wrecked aircraft as landings, however, such non-empirical methodology can easily lead to conjecture based solely on personal observation. This would bring the above picture into the field of art, as a sufficent depth in personal reaction could be invoked into inner meanings of the picture. However, that is beyond the scope of this enquiry, and will not be dwelled upon further. In conclusion, the plane cannot be truly determined by the term described above, and a new form of attribute is required to be assigned to the state of flight presented above. And yes, Jedi is very bored.
  18. Excellent news Jim! Good to know they found out the side-effect of the trial drug. Pulmonary edema can be a bitch. Good to hear that you are getting better. Btw Jim, you know that some treat pulmonary edema with Viagra (usually for high altitude exposure though)
  19. Hey BluBear, I think we met at the Red lion, I was the blond young dude. Welcome to the Dogz, finest place on the internet.
