Salute guys Lately, my dogfighting ability has just gone in the dumper. I mean I just can hit a thing. Its like I'm shooting blanks or something. Now it seems to be mostly when I am on a public server, but even in single player I seem to get flamed all too often. Long story short, is there anyone out there that would take pity on an Old fart, and meet up with me on say the dogs server and give me some lessons? Maybe it is partly game settings or something as well as me just being a bad shot. Regards AP

Bob Hoover was a WWII US fighter pilot. I believe he mostly flew p-51s but he flew other aircraft too. I think he and Chuck Yeager knew one another. Dont know what he did to piss the FAA off. He was a real master of flying. Maybe still is dont know if he is still with us.

I remember reading about this company at least 6 or 7 years ago and think I remember them at that time talking about doing a 109 G model as well. Does the 190 use a radial BMW engine too? My dream if I was filthy stinking, dirty rotten

Trout, SH4 is worth the price of admission. It has nice graphics and is IMO quite realistic. It has a ton of great MODS for it as well, I have been playing it (dont tell anyone! LOL!) for a few years now, The only thing is its not as fast paced as some would like.

"Have you tried doing a chdsk of your system drive? (right click drive in Explorer > properties > tools > check for errors then tick all boxes, you will need to reboot then for it to check and it will take a while." I did that for a while now, when I reboot, the computer comes up with a dos screen and says it doesn't recognize the key board ( a wireless one) and to press any key to continue. Well I had to just shut down and plug in a wired keyboard and it came back up,

I had a BSoD ounce wile using the regular (non usb) but I wasn't playing IL2 at the time I was just surfing the net. I haven't had a crash yet since using my Bose headphones (non usb) while flying. I will have to go out a buy some non usb headphones with a mic. Any suggestions on that? I am going to reformat if I cant fix the problem, but not just yet. I hate to reformat.
