  1. That's a typical shot of him...he's only happy when he's out running in the fields or swimming in the sea/lakes
  2. Dunno, its news to me too. Apparently its an 1100cc V-twin with the engine along the frame Ducati-style. Exhaust looks neat, it's box shaped and sits below the engine - no shiny sllencer/bean can.
  3. Cheers m8 Typical, I knew it was a bad move putting that last shot up...she's BOUND to get all the attention!!!
  4. Not me, my hound....realisation that he's no longer gonna get the attention now that the bike's back on the road (already caught him c@@ping near it - didn't realise when I took the picture)!! It's a March 2000 Triumph Sprint RS and has a 3 cylinder 955cc fuel injected, liquid-cooled engine.... My brother took it away to do some bits and bobs on it and brought it back this morning. For those into bikes he's buying himself a KTM RC8, only just being introduced over here, pictured below...and behind the....ummmm....lady
  5. Fantastic....well done geezers. Same issue with 8800GTX, spent a good part of last night trying different settings - will now disappear for more firtling (wifey and daughter out clothes shopping)....yeehah
  6. That's almost a word for word account of what I went through OT - frustrating to say the very least.......good luck, I really hope it works for you (not being sarcy - genuinely!!).
  7. I had that iussue with BT - they were blaming my pooters and would NOT admit it was their antiquated equipment that couldn't cope. A frustrating few months that resulted in both Homehubs (1 replacement) being slung into a corner and us returning to a faultless, creamy smooth service from Telewest/Virgin. The BT engineer that visited eventually, and whom we refused to pay for, had no explanation for the useless service I was showing him. BT.....Bloody Tat.......
  8. Have you spoken to BT m8, are they aware? As an aside, and as support in other areas of your computer, are you running a maintenance programme? One like this http://www.tuneup-software.co.uk/produc ... utilities/ is very useful - download the trial version and let it do whatever. I have the full version and it's proven very useful - it optimises many things, including net connections.
  9. Nice find GK - couldn't show that to some of my lads, the addage "Drive to Arrive" would be changed to "Bladder it to Ladder it"....
  10. I am going to refrain from posting anything during the sensible few minutes I have....apart from now, that is.
  11. SBD = Shipborne (Carrier-based) Bomber - Dive. A way of designating where it operates from, what it does and how it does it (not always used). Other examples - TB - Avenger, Torpedo/bomber P51 - Pursuit/Patrol, as in fighter/interceptor, as opposed to PBY - Patrol/Bomber/Consolidated(Y = designation for manufacturer) Interesting stuff
  12. Blimey, missed something there then - Thursday...?
  13. I think you also need to have "Stencil Buffer" checked on the IL2 setup box...

    NGO Nvidia drivers

It does m8, most of the feedback about them is positive. I'm tempted to give them a go but I'm still in the "honeymoon" period with this new rig and not greatly inspired to change anything
  15. Anyone tried, or running with, the NGO graphics drivers? http://www.ngohq.com/ I understand that they are enhanced versions of the Nvidia/ATI ones.
  16. In effect Pooka, what you are saying is the Dogz got 3 out of the top 4 spots....fantastic effort
  17. Don't know much about specs because I was limited in choice because of what was on offer by the builders. I went for the Asus Striker because it has endless upgrade possibilities and that is what I saw....this is not to say that any other would do the job, just that I was limited in choice. Look out for the case and cooling too - I believe the 8800GTs run hot compared to the older GTX's etc.
  18. That has gotta be a wind up - I couldn't get past half way before wanting to rant.....a Christmas tree all year round because every day is Christmas for.....
  19. I was also disappointed when I found the new software didn't have any 3d piccies to click on when I reprogrammed my X45 recently - once I saw the numbers on the stick referred to the text it all fell into place. The only thing I haven't done is use the software for the Saitek pedals - I decided against because I set up rudder, flaps and brakes via the game HOTAS control section so I only use the driver for those.
