    Well, Do You....?

Uh oh, this may be going in a direction it wasn't meant to Please concentrate on the circled area, particularly where it says 'Fw 190 Complete Cock' - nothing else. THAT is what I am chuckling about. Tsssch, explaining something never works........ Dagnabit....that picture was given to Painless for safekeeping!!!

    Well, Do You....?

This is one of those things in life that I wish I hadn't bothered with It seemed funny at the time...... one of those 'fwooor...that's cheeky' schoolboy things. It's only a reference to the yellow-circled text, that's all. Hey-ho.
  6. How critical? Total loss?

  8. Welcome mate Enjoy yourself! Cheerzen
  9. It may just need a tweek, I've found that occasionally settings need to be re-established following changes to other non-related programmes. Couple of things to try. Try redirecting the Nvidia control panel to your game 'il2fb.exe' by adding it again via the control panel, that may do it. Open up 'il2 setup' and check the video setting panel. Are you using custom settings or are you selecting a specific card? If the latter you should be able to select 'Nvidia 6xxx....9xxxx'. This was introduced a couple of years back on an 'il2 setup' configuration file that came with a selection of .dlls that dealt with shimmering and jaggie issues with Nvidia cards. It required manual installation though...... I have jaggie-free joy with the following: Anisotropic filtering - Application controlled Antialiasing game correction - On AA mode mode - Overide AA setting - 8x AA transparency - 4x supersampling
  10. Salute Bojan, well done mate!
  11. Could have put this post in the junkyard thread but heyho, it's more relevant here...... A lot of peeps have been adding RAM in preparation for Cliffs so, if anyone is interested, I have: 4gb (2 x 2gb) of Crucial Ballistix at £20 per stick and 2gb (2 x 1gb) of Corsair XMS2 at £7 per stick Sold Price is based on age and usage and includes postage. 'Gis a PM if interested. Cheerzen
  12. Nice vid...cheers! Different seeing the contra props on what is essentially a Spit and the noise is completely different. This was the end of the line though wasn't it and would be radically different from 'traditional' views.
  13. Cheers BluBear

  18. Thinking of you m8, take care of yourself and those about you. Thanks for the update. It is coming across as a major changer here in the UK, although the coverage isn't as headlining as it could be. Cheerzen Sid

  21. Spectacular! Now, where are the couple featured at 2.46............how wude!
  22. The onboard wouldn't work if it had been disabled in the BIOS. The person that installed the sound card would have disabled the onboard for the card to work properly. It is a relatively easy job to restart it. Be careful with Creative soundcards and Windows 7 - the drivers weren't compatible, although they may have caught up now.
  23. Hmmmm.....yes, it is. The actual physical taking out of the old and installation of the new is easy and should not be frustrating in the least. What CAN be frustrating is the installation of the drivers and setting the soundcard up. However, a gentleman of your patience should have no problem I would recommend you uninstalling the current drivers before shutting down and doing the physical stuff. Then follow the installation instructions...... What operating system are you using? XP? What card are you looking to buy? You really don't need to spend megabucks. Does your computer have onboard sound? If so, this is perfectly adequate for gaming and other uses...I use it now after having soundcards for years.
