While there was nothing at all wrong with the hotel in Cambridge this year, it is handy having the bar and the airfield so close together. Personally, I'd prefer to be there if the price is right. I think the general opinion was the same?

[4.101 Patch]

Hi chaps,

Am hoping to join coops tonight. I've just installed 4.101 over 4.09m - the splash screen comes up for a second then disappears - no game! Can anybody suggest a fix please, or have I done something wrong?

EDIT..... Ummmm.... Perhaps if I downloaded and istalled the right patch......

Thanks for everything Jim, I really wish that I had done the online stuff a lot earlier and by delaying taking the plunge I missed out on a lot. The Dogz has become a way of life for me and I really enjoy the company both online and when we meet up at Duxford.The Il-2 scene will loose a lot when you go, but you have made a big impact and made a lot of people happy. Once again Salute BG.

[Up 3.0 Problems?]

Just an update regarding the San's FOV changer issues. I think I found a solution unless anyone else has already posted it. Since the problem seems to be there are 2 il2fb.exe, one created by il2 and one by the executable selector after starting the game you can just alt tab out and start your task manager. Then end the il2fb.exe that has the description of 'executable selector'. Once the game is launched it doesn't appear to need to be running anyways and there you go, only one exe for San's to hook into when the mission starts. Simple huh, don't know why I didn't think of it before. Working every time for me now.

I just got TrackIR, my joystick & rudder and IL-2 all sorted out, now I need to figure out how out of date my IL-2 install is!?!?

Hi John, at present we are flying 4.101 stock until the final version comes out for UP 3. You can install UP3 over 4.101 and use the switcher for co-ops. UP3 is on RC2 at the moment and it should be able to update to the final when thats released There are a LOT of good things in UP3 like 6 dof, loads of new maps and flyables. See the MODS part of the forum for a video of the new Tunisia map. It looks stunning

Last night on comms, Jedi mentioned that one of the Dogz (maybe Arthur) had posted or mentioned a list of object names that have changed in UP 3.0. I need this list to fix missions.. So, I am wondering where I can get this list. I would like to get it from the UP site, but Boomer told me he did not know of a list like this. So, I am confused..

If anybody knows about this, please let me know..
