    day out

    Dr Who........Sci-Fi genius!
  2. I just want to break in here and ask my friends to be careful not to disparage that most ancient of peoples the Olegites. Many people are familiar with their language Olegish but few are capable of understanding the complexities of the Olegian calendar, I mean these people have had like three or four years (according the Olegian time) to develop this intricate time keeping method. I just want to give a word of caution, lest we have an international incident here.
  3. Check this out. No comment from Saitek though: http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/23110283/m/5101084867 Dead Sexy. I'll get a second job to buy that.
  4. LOL, great minds think alike.
  5. From the sounds of it that may be exactly right. I expect to be flying both side by side for some time anyhow. I'm just glad to have some progress, my biggest hope is for a bit more optimization for the newer hardware. Though the new planes will be nice too.
  6. Wait for it.........wait for it..........Two weeks, be sure.
  7. She's a beauty Mate. And Sweper, yeah that is exactly what he is talking about, and this is the most dangerous part, as Murphy has a bad habit of showing up just now (touch wood). This is why I only build Armor.

    Road Trip

Now THAT is an adventure. I should think that the first thing a desert traveler thinks on finding the bones of another desert traveler might be "But for the grace of God.......". Am I off base?
  9. Fan-freaking-tastic! Congrats on the new rig and a hearty Congrats to Valda both on the great test results and on realizing that she married a different sort of creature that herself, not many get that (of either sex). Smart girl that one. (And smart lad for findin' her)
  10. Oh, yeah. Works like a charm on win7 too. This will be sooooooo helpful.
  11. I'll be trying this out first chance I get. Thanks Mate. Big Salute for you.
  12. Did you say SEVEN!? (chokes on badly needed bourbon) SEVEN!? WEEKS? I still like you, Arthur, but a little less. :fighting:
  13. I think you need both for...er.....historical reasons, yeah, that's it. Historical.
  14. You lucky bastard! Touch her once for me.
  15. I thought I'd include my other two granddaughters in this one.......

  17. My first handgun was a Glock 19. I still consider it to be one of the finest handguns made. I call it "the shovel that shoots bullets" it is as accurate as is necessary, as reliable as, well... a shovel, and pretty much indestructible (no really.... Chuck Taylor has been trying to destroy one for years. Last time I heard the score is Glock: 170,000 rounds - Chuck Taylor: Still the owner of a working Glock.) I'd still own it but the combination of the funky ass grip angle and the crappy trigger causes my carpal tunnel to act up.....I couldn't even dry fire the thing towards the end. As for the Kimber, you'll note the little CDP in the photo's in my previous post....I'll let the photos speak for themselves.

  19. The first Photo is my qualification target for the LFI 1 course (Leathal Force Institute) I missed 1 question on the written exam (a stupid misread), so I got 'only' a 99 overall. The second is from the ASAA basic course (American Small Arms Academy) I got an 87 overall, good enough for a 'distinguished graduate' rating. The 87 was hard earned on a cold and damp November weekend, after putting 500 rounds through a pistol that's hard on the hands after 50. Yeah, I can shoot some. I only wish it translated to WWII aircraft on the computer.
