  1. Also outwardly displaying anything other than unconditional love and affection for the P38, may have made Fen’s mascara run 🤭🤫
  2. I know a chap who could help you with that if the price is right ?
  3. Regarding rotation of pilots on each side with for example only three aircraft in the air at one time from each side... It would be useful to know who would like to fly some of the time and who would like to stay in a tank for the duration ? Then we will know if time limits or maximum sortie numbers need to be imposed or not.
  4. CAUTION ! “Picking brains” has to be done with great care in the DDz ! In the past, even the smallest “pick”has left some members unable to assemble a sandwich for weeks at a time !
  5. Welcome Tbone, any friend of Crash is......... bound to have a screw loose. Sounds like you will fit right in 👍🏻🙈
  6. Bloody hell Col, now I have to go shopping !
  7. ..... and so begins the DDz involvement in a lengthy legal battle having been accused of “false advertising” 🤣
  8. I can confirm that Delta got a Stug III or Pz IV visually Tom. Reggie got the same and the Tiger !
  9. Bloody good show 485th! We cleared the area as tasked. Sad to see Mr Walsh hit more than a bum note ! Will advertise for another new wingman in the classified section of “Joy Boy Monthly” and hope for the best. Excellent work Tom for getting us all into the correct airfield.
  10. Brilliant work Tom, have posted detailed PM to the 485th boys .
  11. Wow “too many equivocations to definitively conclude” .......“factots” Marry me !
  12. Here you go Reggie, this is the one I think you need found in the MODS Icon_Map_Other_Planes_Off_3010C_2-15 folder... Correct me if its the wrong one chaps. map.dds
  13. Mixed bag this time out 485th, wing men like Capt Dave Prang don’t grow on trees !. Hope our replacement, 2Lt Joe Walsh flys as well as he apparently plays the guitar! The technical problems which occurred before we took off are being looked in to by the crew chiefs and will hopefully not plague us again. We can not afford to loose three experienced pilots before we even get off the ground. In flight problems concerning vision, specifically target acquisition, can and WILL be rectified with a combination of the correct spectacles and medication ! Other than that well done for giving Jerry a bloody nose once again. You saved a few GI lives today chaps. Drinks are on me this evening provided you all wear “one item of lace” as was the habit of our dearly departed Capt David Prang.
  14. Ok to Postpone with me Tom, hope the issues are not too serious mate. Good luck !
  15. Sorry to hear that Den, have fun and see you next time mate. Reporting for duty skipper.....
  16. Small correction Tom, my close call with AAA was in fact a close call with one squirrel, a pigeons nest and enough wood to build three triple legged bar stools. 🙈
  17. Welcome to the dog pound Stella, hope you become part of our regular crew sir.
  18. No problem Dave, for the record I thought you did a fine job of leading White flight through the ground attack phase and of leading 485th back to home base after I had to land at Uphoven with damaged engines. We will go back to White 1 being leader both in function and formation, the job is yours if you want it. If not then I would ask for a volunteer.......... ? Well done 485th yet again, no losses and a considerable haul of howitzers, AAA and machine guns.
  19. Excellent show 485th ! Not sure about you chaps but I thought it was an honour to be part of the support act for superstar Capt (DD) “Deadly Dave” Prang ! No prizes for guessing who will be buying the first round of drinks at the up coming “triple M“ (Mincing Mud Movers) ball. Now the sad bit.... we lament the loss of Capt Hawker Siddley and will be having a collection for his family at the triple M, ~S~ Sir , nuff said . We are expecting one 2nd Lt Sidney Gittins as a replacement who has a reputation for settling any disputes in the ring. Pretty sure that means he is a keen boxer so beware gentlemen ! Bad luck on the joystick malfunction Lt Reginald, it can happen as you get older sir. Looking for a good score from you next time !
