~S~ Fine fellows, I haven't built a model plane for years much less a Spitfire MK IXc CLP !! Just thought I'd post some pics of this 1/48th Spit I've just spent 3 weeks,(on and off), building. I expect quite a few of you guys build models of various sizes including, I know, flying ones !! (too clever for me ! lol) I helped build exhibition models for 3 years in the RAF but that was a long time ago and now my eyes need glasses and my hands shake uncontrollably !! ~S~ Chaps, first of all, thanks DT for a great evenings entertainment sir !! The lag issue seemed worse with all that mist about in the second mission. Would it affect lag in the same way flak does ?? Or was it just the murderous flak itself over the beach doing it ? Missions 1 and 3 were fine for me thank (goodness) !! lol Bloody close contest from what I can gather, so well done both teams for flying your bottoms off !! ~S~ Well done Colin for taking on the job of leader in the first place. Its easy to sit back and think "well I wouldn't have done it that way" but until your actually the one in the hot seat............!!! LOL

~S~ Sged, thanks for the info mate, I have seen a MK VIII clip wing by Hasegawa in 1/48 but thats the nearest I've found to the MKIXc clip we fly in JO. (it's got a 4 bladed prop) The ideal kit would be a 1/32 MKIXc clip, for size and price I think ! LOL Guess what colours I'm going to paint it !! LOL ~S~ Planeless

~S~ Mobius One, must be the season for it M8 ! I was sitting on the beach with my better half having a cuddle just like young folks do ! LOL, watching the kids play in the sea at Hayling island beach , (Nr Portsmouth) last Sunday. Heard the sound of radial engines in the distance, looked and saw the unmistakeble shape of a B17 front on . Feeling well pleased with my aircraft recognition I stood up shouting "it's a B17, it's a B17 " !! Everybody looked at me like I was as mad as a box of froggs and Siobhan said "ok, ok easy tiger" !! LMAO Found out later there was an air show in Sussex and that was where it must have been heading . Thank heavens for understanding women ay ! !S! Glenn , thank you once again for all your hard work sir. You have taken peoples comments on some of the problems we had, (given how much time you always put in), really well , REALLY WELL !!!!! LOL Did you beat the crap out of a passing stranger to make yourself feel better or are you a way better man than me ? LMAO The freeze problem was the only thing that pissed me off really, I even had trouble taking a Zero off ,( how easy is that normally !!!) What we need is a "super computer" as a server maybe ??
