  1. No go faster stripe? That is a nice car, have admit, but steering wheel is on the wrong side - what's with that?! Styling is so much better than a stock XKR: http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?zip=63141&endYear=2016&modelCode1=XKR&showcaseOwnerId=0&startYear=1981&makeCode1=JAG&searchRadius=25&showcaseListingId=0&mmt=[JAG[XKR[]][]]&listingId=392999193&Log=0 Mind you the price difference..
  2. Sorry Nick, my 560 is showing its lack of power in DCS
  3. I enjoyed the read, as well as the pictures, then fantasised about having an AirCam: http://www.bbc.com/travel/bespoke/story/20150424-a-view-that-puts-window-seats-to-shame/index.html Shame money is such a hurdle
  4. Me three.. Fortunately I already had an Anker USB 3 PCI-Express card and used that, X55 works fine now. Apart from the throttle not showing in game controllers CP properly. Had spent enough time on it as it was (thankfully I did not replace any hardware nor re-install windows).
  5. Came within a gnats whisker of RMA'ing the X55. Rudder (I don't actually need it due to having pedals) was spiking like crazy and reporting less than 10% displacement. Throttle #1 was not registering 100% full throttle and was out of sync with throttle #2. No way to calibrate either issue out so out came the screw driver. Throttle was a case of loosening off the gear wheel carrier, rotating it 2 teeth and re-tightening. Now reports correctly. Rudder was a little harder to track down cause and correct, I checked internal (to base) wiring for chaffed or loose wires, no joy. It then occurred to me to detach, clean the contacts, and re-attach the joystick handle, now works perfectly. Had a 'mare with the software when I tried to uninstall it and re-install, found the USB (including hidden) device deletion and registry cleaner worked a charm. Finally I can now start to learn what is where and see how well the Rhino and I can merge
  6. Cheers Andy, good tips and nice to have starting profiles
  7. Just placed my order for an X55, having been given an award at work out of the blue Old topic being necro'd I know, but.. Any profiles to share? Any hints that are new with this HOTAS?
  8. Our anti-spam measures do tend to conflict with alcohol consumption, I ought to re-write them so being drunk is a requirement not a bar
  9. http://dangerdogz.com/test/ Have at it, register and give it a whirl. All content will be erased when w are done testing though
  10. Word just above avatar is the rank The blue bar has the forum name
  11. Had not realized search was broken by the last security update, but have now fixed it. Apologies for that! NameCheap dynamic DNS client was broken, had to reset the password. Please review: http://dangerdogz.com/forums/topic/11994-namecheap-dynamic-dns-passowrd-and-client/ And update your clients accordingly.
  12. Resent the password to you both. Will update the DynDNS post in private section with password, as it is the same password for everyone
  13. Hang around some more then! We even share our sheep sometimes, if the liquor flows enough that is
  14. Double check the password you are using for DNS update, ddcrash.dangerdogz.com was not pushed to DNS.
  15. Very weird. The DNS record on namecheap is correct, however pinging crash.dangerdogz.com resolves to the wrong IP. This indicates there is a higher level failure in the Internets DNS propagation, in other words Dave... ..you have broken the internet!! Can you try a different name, dd-crash.dangerdogz.com would be my first try.
  16. Firewall? DNS updater not running? Some detail would help
  17. Welcome to the Pound John! Wolvo eh? They attempted to educate me in Bridgnorth just down the road, when I wasn't skiving and taking the bus to Wolverhampton that is You landed really well mate, you simply cannot get a better introduction to flight sims than with this tawdry lot
  18. Took me a few seconds to get it
  19. Combined with Athur's link: http://www.google.com/get/cardboard/ Yes cardboard, bit of elastic (rubber bands from stationery cupboard) and some padding, job done! cardboard_design_v1.0.zip
  20. Pedals for me then PM me payment details, and I'll reply with shipping details.
  21. Definitely interested in the pedals! Twisty joystick does not cut it Nick got first call though. Warthog is sooo tempting too.
  22. Classic, such as it is. I don't like the interface, I do like the resource usage though. Desktop shortcuts are OK, but finding newly installed programs is a faff - Windows button -> search is not too different, then pinning to task bar or 'Start' which is the full screen version of what we are used to with 7.
