  1. Check out the process here...
  2. Just curious as to why you want to change Colin? As I have the Hat Clip as well. Are the LED Lights supposed to be better? Are they seen better by the TrackIR device?
  3. I just paused it and let it load first, then it ran smooth
  4. My Samsung had 3 adjcent pixels go bad within 6 months of buying it. Their site says they won't replace it until you get something like 10 or 15 (I can't remember). So, I have a spot on the edge with burned out pixels. It's not that bad, but a little annoying that they would not replace it...
  5. I agree. Don't go with a small case. I'd say a mid to full tower. You will be opening it up from time to time and it is easier to work with.
  6. I have an old dell sitting around. But I agree with BG, it's hard to upgrade. The only memory that I could get for it was from Dell, and it was 3x more expensive than the standard memory on the market. Also, a friend of mine asked me to recommend a pc for her son. I recommended one of those prebuilt Kits so it had standard parts (not Dell propriatary stuff). Of course she ignored my advice, and got him a slim case Dell. The first thing he did was buy a better graphics card, which is too big for the case, so he can use it, but he cannot close his case now. Bucky, you could look at something like this: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/category/category_tlc.asp?CatId=31&name=Barebones
  7. Hey SP, I use this Cyber Acoustic headset. I don't need headphones but it has one ear covered if you choose to use it that way... I just sit that earpiece just above my ear when I am using my speakers for speech.
  8. Thanks for the update Trib. Your life is just about like a good novel by Ken Follett!
  9. Yea, it good. But version 4 and 5 are out, so it is about 5 years old...
  10. That was great Fruity. But I can't use 1080p usually because it just locks up I suppose due to bandwidth bottlenecks. What skill were those AI set to? Good shooting either way...
  11. I don't know. I have most of them on and don't have any problems. I don't have any more objects in this mission than the others really. It's about average. But Smash and Jedi both also reported framerate drops, but not over the objects or populated cities. Smash has a low-end pc, and I think Jedi is still playing on his laptop. Jedi said he though his framerate drop was due to the weather/haze.
  12. I have always liked the Subaru hatchbacks, but I wish they would get better mileage. My Toyota 4Runner is 10 years old with 115k on it, and it gets about 18mph. I want my next car to get at least 25mpg on the low side if I can fine one that I like.
  13. Ahh.. Great to finally hear from you Trib! Fox News has been covering this heavily, breaking their normal schedule quite a bit to keep it fully covered. Stay safe. Watch your back. Snack

    I love that cockpit!!
  17. Personally, I would do a reinstall, but you don't have to. You can go with your backup and if that has problems, then start over with a reinstall. Windows 7 (and Vista) has a security feature called UAC (User Account Control). It pops up a window every time you do something it doesn't like, which is about every 5 minutes. I turned it off. It is one of Windows way of making sure your computer (or you) don't overwrite any program files. It probably does other stuff too. But that is a hassle if you want to mod a game. Also it is annoying if you know what you are doing... Also, I recommend that you don't install your games into any 'Program Files' folders. Then you can also avoid this Windows 7 problem and mod your games without hassle. I suggest that you create a folder on your C: drive called My Programs like this: C:\My Programs Snack

Hey Pappy, I like your Poor Aimer sig. That's what BadAim needs too.
  20. I think HDMI is supposed to be better, but not sure. It's what I use.
  21. I showed up on comms from about 7:30 - 8:30, but also nobody showed up. I think there is still some interest though... But I don't know what happened to Mayhem. I have not seen him around for a while.

Great Job there Pappy! Do you have an airbrush?? I have been thinking of getting one sometime for projects like this..
  23. I agree, that would be very nice. I really liked having the DCS: A10c Beta available the past few months. Even though I have been playing other games more, at least I know my system can run it pretty well and also see what it has to offer.
  24. Hope your BDay is Painless, Painless..
  25. Sorry for being so dense, but what the heck is this?? Is this Storm of War renamed to Cliffs of Dover? Or is this some new sim...
