Hi Arthur I don't think I have a copy of TS2 anymore. Is there somewhere I could recover a copy? Do you guys still use TS2? I can get TS3 to run and I can hear (as long as I don't try to use "option" or test the mic in TS3) but for some reason TS3 doesn't recognize my mic. I tested it with "test hardware" in control panel sound and audio devices and it is working. The strange thing is that it did work a week or so ago. AP

S! All TS3 crashes for me anytime I click on "options" or when I try to test the mic (in team speak) If I leave the options alone, I can hear but cant transmit. I checked my mic with the "test hardware" (through the control panel / sound and audio devices/ test hardware) and the mic is working. Engines and avionics extra!! Well, darn I was thinking I could save.........ya right! Its fun to dream though. Wouldn't it be incredible to actually fly a single seat version ! The General Electric J-85 is the engine I worked on in the Navy. Its a great little engine, light and reliable.

I agree Prefesser, I would not spend the time if you cant put a radio in it and fly it. It is a great piece of work though.

~S!~ Does anyone know where the engine sounds are located in the UP 1.8? 1.7 had great engine sounds but somehow 1.8 has gone south with the engine sounds. Especially the P-47 sounds. I would just add the engine sounds I want if I could find where or how to do it. Thanks

Opps, My mistake. I was not allowing it to fully unpack where it wanted to unpack as I thought something was wrong with it (because I expected it to ask for a destination folder right off) when It didn't I stopped it from unpacking. I then used 7z to unpack it where I wanted it to go and that was the problem. So bottom line let it do its thing and the installer will activate and then you will be asked where to install. DOH!

Hi FT When I double click on the EXE it auto unpacks into a temp folder without giving me a chance to select a path for install. When It finishes unpacking into a folder it creates Installed called, "UP_18_full" it doesn't do anything. It doesn't start the installer it just sits their. The whole 1.8 is contained inside that folder. I cant see anything in that folder the says "install.exe" I see something that says "client_install" when I click on that I briefly opens a DOS window and then the client install icon goes away. Nothing happens. Can you give me any suggestions? I have downloaded the whole thing a couple of times ounce with u torrent and once just all the separate parts check it for corruption(checks ok) and it always does the same thing it wont let me choose a path it just auto unpacks into the temp folder and sits there. Wish I could get it to work.

Hi Crash I found the folder it DL'd to and copied and pasted the contents into the game that was patched with the new 4.09m patch. The game loaded briefly (all writing on the splash screen being in Russian) and then CTD'd. So I am confused as to how to apply the UP 1.08 to the game. I am in the process of DL the 1.8 UP again this time using the bit torrent thing. Don't know if it will make a difference. I really like the UP 1.7 so if necessary I will go back to that version.

Brando I downloaded the whole UP 1.08 and when I double click on the first part it doesn't let me select the path, it just immediately opens it to a folder downloads or some place. Shouldn't I be able to select a path? Such as my game folder? I opened it in whatever folder it dumped it into don't r ember the name of th folder but in the folder it contained a folder called UP 1.8 and in

Hi Badaim I am trying to get more custom maps into the QMB pro. If I want to load say Cannons new channel map into it how would I know what to put in the all ini file and into the coni file? Hope I am making some kind of sense. AP

Does anyone know of a converter that can convert the above mentioned files to wav files so that can be put into the game? (IL-2). I have some great music that I got off you tube but it of course is an (primarily) FLV files and would love to be able to convert them for in game (WAV) use. Thanks

Thanks Delta7, It helps indeed. I have just never felt a need to use the track feature until now. So I never learned how to set it up . The advice I have gotten from everyone has helped a lot and I appreciate it.
