I downloaded it, and started it on my monitor, not sure if I was willing to watch the whole thing (an hour plus long!). However, the opening suggested to me that this was a serious effort so I put it up on my big screen with surround sound and WOW!

In addition to making some needed improvement tweaks to various aircraft (Mozzies and P-38's to name two), I can't help thinking the AI was improved in the 46 edition and/or its patch. I am not talking about the BS way they defy things like engine burnout, but the AI seems to do perform certain maneuvers well and use better tactics. One is that damn corkscrew maneuver they use while defensive.

Oh, playing Red Orchestra the other night, I remembered another reason why IL2 has kept my interest... Because Team-Killing little *%$#&$ smacktard bastards don't tend to bother with flight sims as it takes to much effort and skill just to get off the $&%#^@ ground, let alone line up a shot on your team-mates...
