I couldn't get it to download on my wife's new computer (apparently a Vista problem?)

any of you IT type guys ever here of an issue where the computer won't recognize things plugged into the USB ports? When I plug in my Logitel wireless hub (that requires a plug in to a USB port as well as the green mouse prongy-thing in the back) the LED lights on the hub goes out.

LOL...that was me getting strafed. through the heavy smoke and oil on my windshield I managed to belly land safely on our (or very close to) our forward strip. Sat there for a bit and saw bullets go by - none hit me though. Pressed escape and through one of those odd things in SEOW, gets a "jp lands safely" message.
