Flying 4.09m modded. I had this happen about a year ago on certain maps. Not going to worry about it for now. If it gets any worse then I will look at upgrading.

This happened in the last mission I hosted tonight. No other problems all evening.

I am beginning to think Brando is correct. I have checked for errors by running what Rog suggested and it all looks good. Maybe it was something I did wrong in Acronis.

I don't think I did but I will see if I can do something else with the HD. I decided to reformat it and that worked ok. Then I started Acronis and set the path to the external HD. After that I tried to back up C: drive and that's when I got the write error.

New Egg Canada had Acronis True Image 2009 on sale for $39.99 so I picked it up. Now my external hard drive seems to have gone tits up. The computer sees it but when I try to access it, it won't read or write or I get write error messages. Then my computer fails to see it anymore. Any tests I can run to confirm it is done or does what I describe, already confirm it? Looking at a replacement, I realize I know nothing about hard drives. Do I really need an external or would an internal be better? What speed is best? I see they come in 5400 RPM or 7200. Is there a 10000 external?

Does anyone know what kind of car this is?

I have been using Norton Ghost to back up my files successfully for several years. But today, when I tried to run it, I get a message saying Net Framework 1 is not installed. I checked in Add or Remove programes and it shows Net Framework 1 is indeed installed. I try reinstalling but same result. So I do a Google and find out that this is a known problem because of a conflict with Net Framework2 and there is no fix available from Norton. That does it for me with Norton. I'll try Acronis instead.

Maybe we should also get hoods made and change the name of the DD's to the KKK's.

That was just plain stupid. The tree has a decided lean towards the house to start with and no matter how good you are at cutting, it will always go towards the lean. It is possible to insert wedges and change the falling direction somewhat but that is not always guaranteed. He also must have cut right throw the tree otherwise his saw would have been stuck in the tree when the tree "sat down" on his saw. You have to leave at least a few inches of wood and not cut through otherwise the tree becomes completely unstable. I am sure Bucky will be along to offer his expert opinion. I am surprised he has lived as long he appears to have.

Probably best to let someone into your computer with Ultra VNC or Show my PC. There are quite a few things that need to be checked and this might be the easiest way.
