New board has arrived this morning - hopefully this will resolve the problems

Well, after a week of reporting nothing but bad news, there may now be grounds for cautious optimism. The new board is currently set up on the bench with the CPU, memory, boot M.2 and GPU (my original 980) installed and I have POST!!! Nothing else attempted yet, but this is an improvement

All done! Re-enabled - the Dogs time one I may need to revisit to see if I can improve the appearance.

Oh do keep up 007. I know you are probably tired from all the Le Mans (good finish wasn't it? - that man with the flag needs to change, it may be tradition but he nearly got taken out!) Roger has had to disable some of the add-ins to help resolve some issues he is working on with support. There was a post for it.

I like the simplicity of TS, but Discord requires no hardware or ISP to setup a server, and free ATM. I had some sound issues, but once I read the instructions and set it up correctly for my older sound card it works as well as TS, short I can not turn up the volume as high per individual as I can on TS, some guys just don't amplify their voice over comms well enough. Give or take I really don't care, but living with both sides of the Globe, were sort of stuck having to have more than one to hook up with everyone and go with the groove, whatever the groove is at any given moment. LOL

Having used Discord for the 443 campaign last year, whilst it has some cool and desirable capabilities, it’s voicecomms were not as clear or reliable as TS3; if the new TS upgrade can incorporate some of the features that make discord attractive whilst maintaining the better sound quality I’d be first in the queue to advocate us utilising it.

FT has investigated and has a theory what might be happening. However it requires testing. Whatever we do tonight will be an experiment; whether that’s with the P-38 campaign or we use the campaign I set up last week for the Tiffies, is open to debate. Personally, I’m leaning towards the latter.
