It's also on Facebook... but hey ho, for those that don't go there...

Some pictures of the building process itself:
I think it should be externals off and icons off too.
I don't see a problem with friendly fire as far as the tanks are concerned and if you have icons on then the tanks are going to stand out for the planes like a cornish pasty to a seagull with much the same effect.
If there's sufficient interest, I'd be happy to look into starting this up again - we have a lot of new fliers who haven't had the opportunity to experience this type of competition within the group and with GBS now we have a whole new planeset to play with.
You could very well be correct Sir! Ran out of interesting/fitting/relevant/fun bridges to build, so ... yeah. And also got a half finished 1/72nd Lancaster...
However, having done so much with wood in the recent past, the plastic feels so... yeah, plastic! It's nowhere near as nice as that other stuff!
I have 'centre VR view' on my sticks hatswitch. Each time I get in the cockpit I simply centre VR view to how I want it.
Setting up each plane individually? Not on yer' nellie!
Also; just a reminder to people who have a Rift and are using horrible SteamVR to run it; NOOOOOOoooooooooooooo!!!!!
Use this instead, much, much better

yes, you can set a different position for each plane.
What I have done lately is to have the keyboard to hand and then position my head where I would like it to be. then press F10. This seems to set the view.
When I next press my VR centre key, it puts me at this new position.
You need the keyboard to hand because if you are reaching for it when you press F10, that is the position you get.
I put it on my lap when setting the position up.
