Having a strange issue with controls in RoF. The ailerons will twitch, sometimes violently at random times, as though a signal spike is being sent by the joystick. I'm using home-made controls with the Bodnar BU086 board. I've checked all the connections, and they look fine. The puzzling thing is that this hardware setup is working perfectly with IL-2, CLOD, and FS2004. And it occurs only in roll, not in pitch or yaw.

Thanks, Snacko. That's one of the first things I checked, but everything looked fine. It's kind of a random thing though, so I might have missed it. When I look at the RoF controls screen, I sometimes see things jumping all over the place; then it settles down, only to start up again at unpredictable times.

I have another Bodnar board and a spare Hall sensor, so might try swapping in those components and see what happens.

I think it was Pogo who said "We have met the enemy and he is us."

I was poking around in the controls screen today and found the ailerons were assigned multiple times.  I unchecked the additional boxes and the problem is solved, I think.

Thoroughly enjoying this sim, especially the graphics and flight modelling.  Now if I could just figure out how to land the Fokker D-VIII without breaking it.....

Lol I was about to post the controls are so very easily programmed in other places on RoF and in CLod, But I thouht I'd better finish reading.

Too Late LOL
