I have now got the Win10 media creation tool on a USB stick and will have another go with VR with the Zen oc software off. If that doesnt help then format and new Win 10 will have to be the way. If that dont work then its a new MB and back to Intel.

    good luck!

It runs fine on flatscreen and doing photo editing. from what I have read VR NEEDs 5GHz and it used to run fine. If I reinstall Win10 and then change the MB to Intel if it has the same chipset as present would I still need to do a complete windows install?

complete windows install going from AMD to Intel:  Sorry, cannot tell. Never tried that.

'used to run fine': Sure, I know, my Asus board and water cooled i7 did that on 'Fast' overclock setting. Until it no longer did!

Now if you try and do not overclock, and see what gives. What if it's stable and fast enough?

  3. Difficult to tell.

One thing I do know for sure, is that if your c'puter has stability issues then first stop over clocking.

Overclocking sounds nice and smart and bad ass 'n' all  - but if it aint stable, it is just bad without the ass ...

there will obviously be no P-38 campaign on Sunday. I would like to host BoX co-ops for those not interested in this event. Would that cause any server issues? If not how would be co-ordinate access to the server between the  two users ?

In theory it is possible, as Fenrir can operate the DCS server from the web interface, so you should be able to use the server for coop hosting. On the other hand,  we do want the server to be running as lean and mean as possible, because, well, we do not want to see Mosquitoes ending up in the drink due to you hitting 'Generate mission' button now do we?  :)

  5. Our DCS Stable server is not running at the moment, as it somehow interferes with the running of the Beta one.

(I think it's something to do with the latest version, but I am too lazy to report it at DCS forums, it's not that big a deal any more, we used to have it for peeps only having stable. At the moment, all have Beta me thinks)

  6. Our DCS-OB Server now restarts at 1AM. 7AM, 1PM, 7PM CET.

    12AM, 6AM, 12PM, 6PM for the UK.

This can be changed for sure, just suggest a better time. I've tried to keep it as friendly as can be - though midnight for the UK, is that okay?

There's also a check every 5 minutes, whether DCS-OB is running. if not, it will automatically be restarted.
