  1. Did Charlton Heston show up? I hope Yule Brenner or Edward G. Robinson didn't do thier downer routine and expect everybody to make bricks w/o straw. I watch that movie every yr.
  2. that's amazing (finally had to join in on all this neat stuff you guys do around here). Kodachrome was outrageously expensive back then, a roll of 24 slide exposures going for the eqivalant of about a 70 bucks in todays US money, or something like thqt. They recently quit making it a yr or so ago I believe. Kodack just went outta business to. Did anyone notice how overly complicated and expensve that teardrop .50 mount was in the YB-17? never saw that before. And the GI in the WW1 helmet with an M-1....that's rare to.
  3. I'm Barry Goldwater re-incarnated, and I loved both of these. I wish somebody could find some of G. Gordon Liddy's stuff, it would be great, as he's somewhat more cerebrial than Beck and actually knows what he's talking about. The second one is almost as good as Webb's "copper clappers" routine with Johnny Carson.
  4. Bucketloads of it eh? Well, I would get a plane ticket and just fly on over there in anticipation of a healthy attitude toward one of my favorite hobbies, contrary to the repression stateside, but I'm afraid I would just discover that I don't speak the language and mis-interpreted what was said. I have to have a translator when talking to our English friends.........sort of like the problem I had talking to Canadians until I got the book, "Cannuc for dummies".
