That's pretty kool, at least for people who have a rig that can run it well. You really need to have the setting maxed to appreciate it though, if not it's just kind of bla. Still if it turn people on the the sim that's a good thing. Maybe we will get a few more dogz out of this who knows. Only thing about it that I cry about is that the ground war seems pretty weak but as far as the rest of it goes it's a winner.

I'll tell you this though, many of the mods were as simple as copying them from the old MODS folder to the new #UP# folder though some do require a little more work. I've gotten about a dozen mods installed right now as well as several cockpit and map repaints. Its looking good now and I am a happy camper. Well just for the record the issue with the FOV changer seems to be hit or miss. If I start the game and it is working it works fine as long as I don't exit the game. If I start the game and it's not working I have to relaunch the game and then if it works I think it stays working but never had this issue in 4.101 so something is definitively effecting it in UP 3.0. Could be the new executable. I would like feedback from other San's FOV changer users. Have you experienced any issues since the changeover? Also can someone please confirm if the FOV changer is necessary anymore or is UP 3.0 capable of rendering the 3d in true 16:10 now?

I remember myself as well as some others having that same issue with the Korean map when using memory mod exes in 2.01 so I think it may be the map or a compatibility issue between the 2. As for UP 3.0 all seems alright but it broke my San's FOV changer. It will activate in game but I can't change FOV. If anyone else has this problem or a possible solution let me know as this is a deal breaker for me.

If you want gameplay widescreen with proper aspect ratio you are gonna need San's IL-2 FOV changer otherwise your game will be a stretched 4:3 aspect ratio instead of the typical 16:10 for widescreen LCDs. If you talking about widescreen menus, apart from using the Ecran Wide mod I don't know what to tell you. If it's not working anymore then they possibly need to update it for UP 3.0 but I would have thought that would have already been a taken care of if not integrated into UP as its a no brainer. Well I think widescreen for both, there is a widescreen mod included with the UP 3.0 install and it just isn't working....nor is ecran for 4.101 Understood, I haven't installed yet so let me do so and then I'll see if it works for me or not then I'll get back to you.

Oh boy, 50 minutes left. Guess I know what I'll be doing till the wee hours of the mourning. FT is correct. In Bittorent at least (don't know about other clients but would assume its the same) you can set your progress bar to show the parts you have downloaded in a very minimalistic way which looks just like a defrag progress bar as apposed to a regular linearly progressive progress bar. UPDATE: 3 minutes left! Woooo Whoooo!!!

Actually I don't think that the torrent needs to be complete before you start seeding the bits you have already downloaded. UP 3.0 is the only active torrent I am running right now. Besides that in Bittorent my connection speed was set for auto and I was only uploading at about 17kbs. I manually set both the upload and download speeds to 25Mb and now I am seeding the torrent at 400kbp. My download is bouncing from 150 and 500kbps. I usually leave my upload uncapped because if you limit it too much it will throttle your download depending on how the seeders have their settings if I am not mistaken. I haven't checked lately but I remember setting mine to seriously throttle leechers that don't have and upload speed of at least 5kbps. Currently at 62% and 2 1/2 hours remaining. Started just a couple of hours ago.

I'm now getting between 300 and 500kbs. I'll be sure to seed when done.

Really, that's funny cause weren't many the colonist originally British citizens? They don't have to be on the same land mass. The British controlled the region and the colonist wanted independence from being under the English umbrella. Understood, please don't confuse my words to say I take up issue with the British people, tho many see any opinion against the Royals as a personal attack. Ummm, the monarchy doesn't actually rule Britain, you do know that right? since the restoration, Britain has been a parliamentary sovereignty. last time a monarch ruled Britain was Charles 1st in 1649. That didn't work out so well for him.
