Hey Smash, Just a quick one - I noticed Okies post here: http://www.dangerdogz.com/forums/index.php/topic,52.msg65219.html#msg65219 (reply no 80) about 4 up from bottom of page and thought of your new PC build. Might be worth you getting in touch with him as q P5Q-E will run those 2 in crossfire nicely for Il2 Ash

If CPUz has updated then you've flashed your BIOS ok, which is handy for future ref. you may need to disable the GO stepping to then let you change the multiplier, thats what I had to do with the C1E (enhanced state - ie: drop mutliplier when idle mode). Hang fire for a day or so & I'll get a def answer for you

Thanks for the info Perfesser. I've used Catalyst Control Centre and have got the dual monitors working the same as yours with Silent Hunter4 but its still shutting off with Il2. I've opened a support ticket with ATI so maybe they can help!

brilliant, thanks! can you post the CPU, memory & SPD tabs and I'll see what I can come up with for you. Just to check - you've added in a new graphics card so you don't use the onboard GeForce graphics?

download this ( http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php ) utility, its free, small & really handy. look under the 'mainboard' tab & post up what it says in the 'manufacturer' box. I believe that ASUS make a lot of the Acer mobos so its usually possible to just flash your BIOS to a newer 'unlocked' Award version and you'll be away

Hey gec, I've got my primary monitor at 1680x1050 same as my game, secondary monitor ar 1280x1024. Having unlocked the taskbar I can now drag it to the second monitor ok
