Anyone know the word for that weird shudder you get when you read stuff like this?

BTW, the halbie 200hp version has a peculiar engine, as it mixes the altitude throttle and the normal throttle. Look at the red area on the throttle and listen to the engine so it runs smoothly. As your altitude increases you may move the throttle in the red area. Don't expect an easy take-off. Fun plane though.

Physics porn right there.

Which MSSFB do you have, the USB version (MSFFB2), since I know that one works (I use it myself), as for track IR, the 3 software should work just fine, you may even be able to the later software.

I wonder what the causality here is, are they flying so low just to show off they have huge balls, are they unable to achieve higher altitude due the having such big balls?

Welcome mate! You just joined the best damn place on the internet (that part that does not have naked chicks in it at least).

Welcome!

I live there now, hence the article.

Actually the link there copied it from the Daily mail (hence my comment on that particular newspaper), it could be something connected to that. Just did a bit of research, and it is indeed a DM article from the 24th of June.

The daily mail may be found to be lacking in their analysis from time to time. The fundamental issue is not that off tax evasion (while that is a subject of significant concern) but that of poor fiscal responsibility and excessive demand-side policies leading to a "feel-good" governance merely delaying the inevitable fall. The excessive bureaucracy and extensive corruption among these governments only serves to exacerbate an already precarious situation. I like to point out that Italy has not seen a particularly function goverment since the first triumvirate between 59 and 53 Bc.

Actually writing an an essay on the euro crisis at the moment. My recommendation is more or less to dragoon the less effective governments in the EU, and the dump Sarkozy on an island somewhere (anyone know of any ships going to Saint Helena?)
The fiscal irresponsibility and almost pathologically endemic reluctance to follow the rules of the EU and good governance in general is the most severe plight of the European Union. For all it's benefits, it would have been better to exclude some member-states due to their egregious incompetence.

In swedish the equivalent would be "Kika in i Köket"

German I think.

Obi-wan in a Lanc, what's not to love?

While I mainly drink scotch, I do enjoy the occasional bourbon or rye. Usually I drink from a tulip glencairn glass with a small splash of water, but for bourbon mainly neat. The only things allowed to mix. With whisky is red vermouth ans angostura bitters, or alternatively sodawater, bitters and a teeny bit of sugar; that is
however reserved for the cheap stuff when socialising.

Badaim is more civilised than to drink his whisky ice cold. A whisky dispenser would be quite indispensable.

Say what you want about the french, but they do know how to make a pretty aircraft. There is something very special about deltawinged birds.

Holy crap that looks like fun.

Name, rank and serial number, according article 5 of the third Geneva convention, written in 1929, but substantially updated (improved) in 1949 (in the present form in its article 17).

Same here
A P51 modelled to perfection, Why not?
-
Not to be a naysayer but ED needs to stick to modern air combat and improve on what they already have, not convoluted the DCS environment with WW2 planes. Why don't they focus on making new jets like the f-18 or Harrier II?
They are. According to the road map, they are working (in paralell) on a updated version of A10C that will have combined ops content, Flaming Cliffs 3 (which will be compatible with A10 and Black Shark 2). The P51 is a collaboration with the Fighter Collection people. Also they have the yet unannounced fixed wing aircraft for the next DCS game.

I watched the Red Baron about a year ago, posted a review of it somewhere on the forum. The short of it is, pretty decent flight scenes, albeit a bit too fast paced. Strange German accents in the english version, and a bit of an awkward romance plot. Might be worth a view though, but don't expect Citizen Kane.

That is one thing I miss when living in the city, you cannot really see the night sky any more. Good pictures there Rox, keep it up. What kind of rig are you running?
