  1. Do you think we'll get a discount for a bulk order from UBI? I mean, we will require 2 discs each for use and backup purposes won't we........?

 My god, what if my 'playing' one gets damaged...I'll need to use the backup so I won't have a spare....better make it 3.....

    Better build another shelf.....

JANE! Garden work is suspended..... :o

PS I actually think the cloth map is for another purpose :laughing7:

  2. The problem only applies to Quantas on the LA route because of the amount of fuel they have to carry to get the 7500 miles to Sidney. The standard engines don't have the trust to get off LA's runway with that much fuel (I assume LAX's runways are shorter than Sidney's) so they use a slightly more powerful engine than standard. In the future please try to pay attention Kelly, I know your busy downloading porn, but there really is no excuse.

Naff all to do with me.....Jeez, us UK Dogz are responsible for a lot of stuff but I have Nothing to do with it.

    Honest...guv'nor

  3. Just remember push left to go left.......

I have saitek pedals and all I did was plug them in. I have not adjusted settings at all.

All I have done is put the break on the right toe break (previously you could not set differential breaks. So when wanting to turn sharp left I have to push left foot out but press right toe break to activate left wheel break.

Same here. I did use the left toe pedal to actuate the flaps for combat use for a time - it worked fine other than there was no way to gauge how far they had deployed and I ended up jamming them too often so gave up on that.

Changing the sensitivity curve as Fruitbat and FT have done is an option I have used but other than that I've used them out of the box.

  4. It's also easy to just run the UP Updater which will download it and place a 'Stock 4.10m' entry in the JSGME lists.

Thats exactly wot I just did. Merry Christmas, Brando m8. :thumbsu:

Thanks for that excellent advise Brando :)

So, other than putting it onto a clean 4.09 for backup, with the UP updater putting 4.10 on we are good to go with our current install?

  5. This is soooo relevant. I have bought a Haynes manual for virtually all my motorbikes and cars and have used some a lot, notably the ones for older style Minis and BMW 'R' series boxer engined motorbikes. I am pleased to say that I haven't bought one for the Moto Guzzi or the Isuzu Trooper yet as they are, respectively, still under warranty and 12 years old. If I have to do something to the Trooper that requires a Haynes Manual then I would prefer to spend the money on a replacement vehicle as my back/legs/knuckles/patience couldn't stand the stress and strain of outdoor working in all weathers.

Haynes have been useful for me and have saved me loads of money but our relationship is now at an end. ;)
