Simply download and unzip this file and put the resulting P38J25 folder and it's contents into the data\graphics\skins folder in your main game directory.

For those of us that are struggling to install JSGME, I have repacked Sid's mod to include the JSGME files as well. Just unpack the contents of the zip file to your game folder, run JSGME.exe (I have also included a shortcut for JSGME that can be moved/copied to your desktop), accept the default mod folder location and voila! You have JSGME installed and Sid's mods ready to go!

The installer for the current version of JSGME (2.6.0).
Download, unzip and run the jsgme_setup.exe utility.

Nice little mod to remove the scratches from the canopies. JSGME Friendly. Unzip the file and place the Polished Canopies folder into MODS folder (in the root folder for the game). Enable through JSGME in the normal way. I suggest you install this mod before the Oyster HiRes Cockpits mod (if desired).

For all your hi-def grassy needs. Unzip into Mods folder and enable via JSGME.

4K Textures Mod to update the default skins in game (Only required if you want to use 4K textures)
Installation:
1. Create a folder called 'Mods' in the root directory for your game (something like E:\IL-2 Sturmovik\Mods)
2. Unzip this file to the Mods folder. The structure should look like E:\IL-2 Sturmovik\Mods\4K White Skin Replacements for BoM-BoS-BoK
3. Enable via JSGME. Ensure this is loaded after the Normalmaps mod and before any other 4K texture mods.

Installation:
1. Create 'Mods' folder in the root folder for your game (in my case E:\IL-2 Sturmovik GBS) if you don't already have one.
2. Unzip this file to the Mods folder. The folder structure should look like E:\IL-2 Sturmovik\Mods\4K Normalmaps\data
3 Enable via JSGME - Ensure that this is loaded BEFORE any other 4K texture mods

A mod to add historically correct skins to the Axis aircraft in game (Hakenkreuz enabler). This will work either with the 2K (default) textures or the 4K textures.
Installation:
1. Create a folder called 'Mods' in the root directory for your game (something like E:\IL-2 Sturmovik\Mods)
2. Unzip this file to the Mods folder. The structure should look like E:\IL-2 Sturmovik\Mods\Historically Correct German Official Skins for BoM-BoS-BoK
3. Enable via JSGME. Ensure this is loaded after the Normalmaps mod (if you have it) and before any other 4K texture mods (if applicable).

JSGME for IL-2 GBS.
1. Extract to a folder
2. Run the executable and when prompted provide the path to the game (in my case e:\IL-2 Sturmovik GBS). The installer will also prompt you to add a desktop icon and also ask if you want to view the user guide.
